The service made our stay. Everyone from the doorman to the room attendant were all amazing. The drink staff at the pool, jovanny, and Aidan and Tanya and Kevin in the restaurant all made us come looking and staying in their sections.

Beautiful resort! Staff were very friendly, our personal butler went above and beyond for us. Food options were plentiful and delicious! The pool and beach area were well maintained and gorgeous - but get out early for beach chairs!

I wonder if TTR is under new management? Cause the resort and the up charges are getting out of control! $50usd for a facecloth that was used to clean up spilled red wine off the room floor. $160usd for bedsheets that someone had a food poisoning accident in. $1400usd for a broken tv(that the person in room didn't even touch) These are a few things my friend's experienced this trip. Honestly this resort looses its appeal every time I go. I'm scheduled to go back in April 2023, it'll be interesting to see what it's like with Mexicos no smoking mandate. Back to November 2022 The playmakers barely engaged us! Even ones that we met previously. Food by the pool was much better this trips! Not just burgers! There was variety. Luis, Juan and Gihandi are great pool side waiters. The younger Isreal from the buffet always remembers my drink of choice. Paul the maid is thorough. Alejandro from Romanza is always so nice! Zahira from Temptation Cruises was always lovely.

From the moment we entered the resort every person we met was super friendly and helpful. The child care was amazing they did different activities with the kids (6 yrs old and 7 year old). My husband and I never trusted anyone with our kids the first day we checked up on them every 20 min but once we felt comfortable and we saw how much our kids enjoyed themselves we were able to relax and check up on them q 1-2 hours. The kids never wanted to leave. The staff are very well trained on how to handle children. We have a 3rd child who is 1 years old and they have time slotted family time were you can bring your toddler to play there as well. The food really needs some work as i felt it was very bland I spoke to other travelers and they felt the same. The Italian restaurant was amazing. The bbq chicken in the buffet was good, the salads and roasted vegetables were also good. The steak was never cooked to medium rare was always on the rare side. My husband was scared to complain to have it recooked so we never said anything. The pastas were very bland. The Tacos were great with home made tortillas yum. The burgers were delicious. I was a bit worried about food safe as the chef at the buffet who was cooking the meats with veggies for a burritos used the same utensil to get raw chicken and raw beef. The desserts were super great so fresh and not overly sweet. the fresh juice in the morning was always our favorite part. The hard boiled eggs and sunny side ups tend to be overcooked so i would refrain from those. The beach is nothing but amazing! you have life guards on watch. white sand, blue/ turquoise water. The waves are large so you want to watch out for your little ones who can not swim. However, for the little ones they have 3 dedicated pools with different slides for each child from toddler to middle aged to teenagers. I do wish the larger slides could have managed an adult as our children wanted us to go with them. The cleaning staff were amazing kept the entire resort nice and clean. The staff at the coffee shop were also great my husband loved his Irish coffee. Unfortunately they do not make Spanish coffee you have to order it at the Mexican restaurant in advance we didn't know that so we missed out. I wanted to try the octopus but did not want to order a full plate in the event i did not like it but wow! The octopus was delicious at the Mexican restaurant. Internet access was great I was able to contact my family daily all around the resort with no concerns. We were able to do late check out for additional cost but at least that option is available as our flight was not until 750 pm so our family was able to stay and enjoy one last beach / pool day before heading out. The staff do not expect to be tipped but honestly with such great service we could not help but want to tip. At the end of our stay we tipped every team. My kids want to come again to this resort.

The staff were friendly and we especially enjoyed Christopher and Hugo (waiters) and Magdalena (hostess). They were all exceptional! Upon arrival we were not given a safe key or a restaurant schedule. We didn't even know there was a schedule for the first 3 days and therefore missed out on dining at the Old Barn which was only open one day per week. The official website states that the Creperie has cappuccinos and specialty coffees available, when it does not. It would be nice if cappuccinos were available in the restaurants. The website also advertises that international beers are available in the lobby beer garden but they are not. There should be a self-serve coffee urn somewhere. I had to ask kitchen staff to fetch a coffee early in the morning. Another option would be to supply rooms with coffee makers. Real cream should be available for coffee, instead of milk. It would be nice to have real whipping cream for desserts. We enjoyed the Mexican Fiesta night by the pool and loved the chicken mole. We would love to have Mexican cuisine available in the restaurants. The bed was comfy but the pillows are very clumpy and need to be replaced. The shower and bathroom were good except the sink area could use better lighting. One day the water completely turned off in the hotel in the middle of the day without any notice.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent. I was extremely impressed with the quality of food. The Mexican restaurant at the hotel gives you an authentic cuisine experience. I was so impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely helpful. This hotel is a family hotel and here are kids of all ages enjoying themselves. The hotel lobby and restaurant area do not have air conditioning due to the openness of the main lobby. This hotel will keep you entertained on a daily basis. I had the best chicken wings I ever had on the pool deck restaurant and this is not an exaggeration.

This hotel was clean and the market the held on the main floor was a nice addition. The beaches along this strip are amazing! We enjoyed the live show and the staff were very nice. Additionally the drink areas have only a short wait usually. Now for the bad parts, the restaurants booking process is so difficult that even when you wake up at 8:00 am every day to log into their program I was not able to get a reservation for my family. I was only able to get a booking for the adult only restaurant (at ten at night for myself) and the mussels arrived partially frozen, and the chicken was slightly undercooked, I am certain that food poisoning occurred at this resort as it was the only time I ate food the rest of the family did not and I have had a week of illness since. Other than that one incident the entire trip we ate at the buffet when at the hotel. The lunch meals are the same every day, hot dogs, burgers, and greasy Chinese food. There was a couple of nights that were cold, we asked the front desk for an extra blanket and we never received it. The following day, having slept in a cold room without coverings I went down to the desk and they gave us 2 sheets. The best food we had was off the resort. The ocean was warmer than the pools so we avoided the pool. Occasionally hair was found on the sheets that did not in anyway match our hair colour.

It was just ok, not perfect, but ok. We were not hungry, but food wasn't great. Drinks were good. Staff is working hard, but they are not organized.

This was a very nice resort. Would recommend it to anyone.

We had a good time! The 3 bedroom villa had tons of space, and was set up very nice for a family. The view of the ocean we had was amazing, steps to the beach. The villa was not updated, so very old kitchen interior and everything else was old. Didn't really affect our stay, but we did see an updated villa and they are GORGEOUS!!! I think they are slowly starting to do more updating. Our room was 1003. We wouldn't return to this hotel, but we usually never return to the same place. Cancun was different in the way you can leave the resort lots, that's was cool, but also more expenses (bus fare, etc). Staff were friendly, but not reaching out to help or serve. Lots of stairs, from the villas to get to the main part of resort. Flights were good and on time! Luggage very slow in Cancun airport. We did a couple excursions - ATV/Cenote tour and Isla Mejures catamaran tour, they were both great. We went into Cancun twice, for shopping at the markets and also at a mall. Ate at Senior Frogs, was great. Felt very safe, no issues, buses were easy to catch and fun to ride. Will attach a few pics! The last photo of the beach is the view from our room.
