Mazatlan

The room was the biggest disappointment, we asked for 2 queen beds, we got 2 queen beds but they were pushed together with one headboard. It worked but was not what we asked for. The bathroom only supplied minimal ammendites, body wash in the shower only, most hotels would provide separate shampoo, cream rinse and body wash, ( what women washes there hair with body wash?), never got clean wash cloths daily, somedays there were only 1 bath towel, no light in the shower, and a very large step to get into the show, I must say the water pressure was the best thing about the shower. No make up mirrors, even the cheapest hotel on any block provides make up mirrors. Our phone in our room did not work, someone had to come to fix it. Our air conditioner was set at 23 ( which we found too cool sometimes), but we could not lower the temperature, it either stayed at 23 or we had to turn it off. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Was nice to have a choice of alcohol in the room. I was glad we paid the extra for an ocean view room, it was quite nice sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean. Would I return to this hotel, as a couple No, if we returned with our young family of 4, probably.

We were Elite & that was wonderful & offered more than regular bookings. Be sure to calculate the added mandatory fee to your cost of the overall vacation.

It was a great place to stay considering the construction going on . The restrents were good but there was no entertainment. Overall it was ok.

We enjoyed the resort. A little dated but was fine. Location was good, walked out and in the action. Walking distance to many shops, bars etc.

Upon arrival it was apparent that the buildings were outdated. There was bar music that was so loud it vibrated the room door which was not sealed and you could see the clear space around it. Upon entering the room the bathroom was extremely small. Barely able to accommodate one person. Closet unfinished and was just a clothing bar and 3 drawers wide open to the entrance. 2 double beds that are attached to the floor and a door to the patio. I decided to spend a couple extra $ on the vacation for the ocean view which did not disappoint. Don't come here if you wish to relax! Constant extremely loud music which I would call noise (ompa bands on beach with amplifiers). When an actual mariachi band showed up you couldn't hear them.

We loved the location as we are walkers and the malecon and the beach were both fantastic for walking. The hotel is nice and clean . Staff was very helpful especially Jonathon. The ocean view rooms are a great plus however not great for sleeping . The street noise was very loud every nite. Although we loved the view we would ask for a lagoon side room next time even though they don't have balconies

This place seems to be going down hill. I have stayed here a few times in the past but will not stay there again. Sorry to say
