Mostly Decent with some Shortcomings

Location is decent as is the beach, aquarium tickets included, service requests answered promptly but limited meal choices, line ups, extra charges, spotty pool service, poor beach chairs, and delayed or non existent cleaning of chairs and dishes left in the halls etc are a downfall. There are a number of great food joints outside the resort including across the street and it is easy enough to catch a ride anywhere from this location. The price is somewhat high for the offering, though. [Details]

The strong points

Location is decent, beach is good, some good meal choices, rooms kept clean, service calls answered quickly, some waiters are great. (Ask for extras or changes on meals as bacon doesn't exist otherwise).

The weak points

Spotty service, limited food choice, lines/wait for buffet, extra charges on some liquor/food, scanning bracelet after meals/services, halls and chairs often dirty or cluttered with dishes, chairs not frequently cleaned, beach chairs poor, many vendors

Sanitary measures

Beach and pool chairs often remained dirty, crud in pool not taken care of promptly, dishes/food left in halls far too long.

Quiet resort, but clean and good food. No night life, but we kept busy and ventured off to watch bands and see the city. We also played Pickleball at the sister property most mornings. Would recommend. [Details]
