The Local Hotels Mazatlan

We booked this trip to celebrate my 40th birthday. We've been to Mazatlan previously. The hotel itself is very nice- new construction, modern. However, they classify themselves as a resort but this is truly just a hotel. Great for a day or two stay but that'd be about it. The description noted a speciality restaurant along with the buffet and snack bar however the buffet was only available while we we there and the selection was extremely minimal. The service poolside was non existent. We booked for an all inclusive and had requested not once but twice to move resorts. Finally our request was fulfilled and we were able to enjoy our vacation.
