Puerto Vallarta

We had not been to the Hyatt Ziva for six years and saw a few changes such as a new restaurant called Tamari which is Asian. Delicious food and you can sit at Teppanyaki table and they cook your food right infront of you. There were new stores to shop at for clothing, swimsuits, jewellery and a pharmacy. We stayed in the club tower and the rooms were beautiful and well appointed. Large balconies to relax on with your morning coffee. Downstairs in the club tower is a bar and a place where you can get food and drinks. The beach is beautiful and the Hyatt is the only hotel on the beach. Food was fresh and delicious at all the restaurants. The Blaze has a wonderful spot right on the water. The staff were so welcoming and kind. They made our vacation the best one yet.

We really enjoyed many aspects of this resort. The ocean view from our room was incredible, the food was excellent and the location close to the Malecon was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made our stay even better. However, we did experience an unfortunate incident that future guests should be aware of. The beach chairs are set up in a roped-off area reserved for guests, though off-site vendors do pass by regularly. The ocean isn't ideal for swimming, so we decided to spend a bit of time under the thatched palapas enjoying the view. When we went for a quick swim in the pool, we felt comfortable leaving our bag under our chair since there was a lifeguard, security and waitstaff in the area. When we returned, our phones and other electronics were gone, and noticeably, no staff were nearby anymore. Overall, we liked the resort and would consider returning - but we want to remind other travellers not to let their guard down with personal belongings, even in areas that feel secure.

Enjoyed our stay very much! We found the staff to be super friendly, the amenities robust and the entertainment enjoyable.

We were greeted to a very large clean and comfortable lobby. The reception staff were extremely friendly as we arrived a day late and they explained all of the services required for an enjoyable stay. They also helped throughout the stay trying to find locations and activities. The pool was large and had different levels for kids to play on. The kids Club was really good. The kids felt safe and they engaged in lots of different activities throughout the week. the food specifically the buffet and the availability of drinks was excellent lots of different choices for the morning and evening meals. The poolside restaurant was great for the kids and adults alike as it provided hotdogs burgers, and pizzas. The only downside was the cleanliness of the rooms, we stayed in a family suite which was a standard size hotel room with bunkbeds put in unfortunately the curtains were broken and dirty, and the bedframe of the bunkbeds have not been clean in a long time. Unfortunately, we did get bit by quite a few bugs and were unsure whether it was mosquitoes or bedbugs, but we did not see any bedbugs. The bathroom needed a bit of an update, and the bath itself was at a strange angle for ease of access, depending on the age of your guess. Overall, though we had a wonderful trip and made memories.

second time to a Dreams. this one was very noisy , didn't realize the Secret's for 55 and older was a thing would of gone there. other wise the staff were excellent, love the all inclusive.

This hotel is great for families! Our kids loved the pools, the beach is nice and sandy for the most part so you can go in the ocean without water shoes. The buffet was great everyday and the restaurants were also great food and service! We tried all three and enjoyed all of them!

Needs an upgrade switch in bathroom didn't work handle on patio door was falling off toilet roll holder was falling off the wall everynight a very strong smell of sewer in bathroom . Buffet restaurant wasn't great in Golden better in the family side Booked Restaurants were pretty good but had to be reserved at 9 by a QR code or you wouldn't get in Impossible to get pool cabanas and chairs in main pool as by 7am they all were taken with towels on them did manage to get pool chair but very squashed together Beach bar was good but very slow service I was on my own and found I was ignored most of the time waited 15 mins for a drink one day the bar tender served everyone around me and I tipped well!! As I travelled alone didn't find this the friendliest hotel and it was a big hotel lots of walking which was fine foot me but not so good if you had any disabilities Evening entertainment was across the street and catered to kids The Micheal Jackson show was amazing other show were Disney and Fantasy which were very well done by the staff but for children some entertainment at night by the pool but nothing very much to do

Our arrival was ok along with check in. Over all relatively clean, but the construction going on was irritating as we were not advised prior to booking. Nothing on the airline or with travel agent websites. Elevator was broken but not posted as out of commission I would like a reply please.

Our stay was amazing. We loved the resort and the people that worked there.

Very disappointed in this resort, We had read the reviews but thought we would make the best of it and Enjoy ourselves. Resort is in need of a full makeover. Pool has several cracked tiles all over, rooms are tired and worn.
