We absolutely love the Playa Los Arcos Hotel. It is located in the Romantica district and is within walking distance to the Malecom, the new pier and only 4 blocks from any bus you might wish to take. The staff are very friendly and their service is wonderful. The Hotel is advertised as a Family friendly hotel and I would agree completely. The food and selection is very good with plenty of options to tempt your taste buds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to have a true Mexican experience with exceptional service at a very reasonable price.There is also entertainment every night with a very good cultural dancing show several times a week.Location location Location! The strong points

Location and Service. Wonderful pillow top beds and lots of soft pillows. Every employee smiles and means it! The grounds and rooms are extremely clean with ongoing maintenance. Free large safe in room.Ask for rooms on 3 or 4th floor with balcony.

The weak points

No Corona available.. weird. No Fridge or Coffee/tea in room. Wifi very good in Lobby but not in rooms unless after 1am. There is an over abundance of hawkers selling wares on the beach.They do take no gracias for an answer but it really is continual.

The food was really bad and I will just about eat anything and not complain. The staff were good and the location can't be beat if you want to be in the old part of the city close to town. All in all a good time was had. [Details]

When we first checked into the room assigned to us by Nolitours we thought the place was a dump. When we paid the extra and upgraded to a better room on the other side of the hotel our vacation changed for the better.
