Ixtapa

We love staying here and have been numerous times. The views from the rooms are all facing the ocean which is so fantastic. The hotel is older and could use some repairs but the staff are constantly keeping all areas clean for visitors.

The hotel is very clean with a simple pool. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. The family suite is a great value but only one separate bedroom with two doubles so there's no privacy for parents. It is at the quieter end of the hotel which is nice. First time to Ixtapa and we'd definitely go back. Easy and safe to walk to restaurants and market. Much nicer than PV

This was the second time we stayed at the Park Royal Ixtapa. This trip was from Feb. 23rd to March 9th, 2023. Overall our stay was fantastic! The only complaint I have is the food was never hot. Not sure what the issue was as last year the food was great but this year very repetitive and not hot...most days supper was barely even warm. Huge shout out to Miguel who helped us change rooms to get a beautiful view of the ocean and resort compared to staring at a palm tree!! He was so very helpful and made sure everything in our new room was ok which turned out was the exact same room we stayed in last year!!

Krystal resort should never be rated at a 3.9. It is way less. 99% were locals which we never had a problem with but when you go away on vacation it is nice to talk to other travellers who speak your same language. The food was horrible. No selection and always cold. The el a carts were much better then the buffets. Drink selection was limited which sucked! Husband was fine with beer but I am more picker and like mudslides or Bahamas mommas. Nothing like that there. We didn't have hot water in our room twice. No fridge or cold bottle water. Had to have ice water at the buffets. The room was cleaned everyday and have to say the views were amazing. Ocean is rough on that side. Beach is gorgeous! There was suppose to be an adult only pool but there were no signs posted and kids were in there at all times. When we mentioned that to staff they did nothing about it. The water slide was a lot of fun that was needed. Be careful having the hamburgers at the snack bar as many people got sick from them. Ixtapa is a great little town. Many friendly people. DO NOT USE THE ATM AT THE BANK IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN BECAUSE I TRIED USING THE MACHINE TWICE AND NEVER GOT ANY MONEY OUT BUT THEY TOOK IT OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT. When I confronted them all they could say is call your bank. No help at all. It was a struggle trying to get the banks address and the teller's name who helped me at the atm. A most go is to Playa Linda and Zhuhai. Basically, Ixtapa, is a great quiet little place to visit but the hotel itself should be only for locals and taken off as a selection through the airlines as an all inclusive.

My husband and I were blown away by the service and kindness from the staff at Azul. Whether a bartender, cleaner, busser, front staff, room service; the service was amazing! The staff is so friendly. Numerous occasions I watched staff go out of their way to keep the resort clean and the customers happy. Absolutely impressed. The rooms were nice and clean. The maids did different decorative stuff each time they were in to clean. Making animals from the towels or leaving beautiful flowers. The food was good in some places and great in others! Overall impressed with the food.

Our experience was fairly good at the hotel. Enjoyed the beach and the staff. My kids also enjoyed swimming in the pool. The staff worked really hard with activities for everyone to have a great time.

If you're tired of going to all inclusive ithat they pack you in like cattle and heard you through a Buffet line then this is a place for you very personalized excellent service they make you fresh breakfast each day. A smaller personalized resort my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed with a picturesque view 250 feet above the ocean overlooking the bay just an amazing time. Walk down The steps to the ocean neat little bars and restaurants that are So reasonable and excellent food
