Sandals Barbados
The resort is lovely, and the grounds beautiful. Once we figured out the link between the 2 resorts, it was easy to get around. Highly recommend the resort tour offered each day at 9 am or 5 pm. Lots of restaurant choices and needless to say, we both gained some weight…lol.
Our room location on the 2nd level was great and located in the quiet area of the resort and very near the quiet pool, which we used often. While not the most fanciest of rooms that we have stayed at during previous Sandals vacations, it was fine.
We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. There was lots of selection to buy gifts at their Beach House shops.
The beach was clean and we had no problem finding lounge chairs in the shade. The beach was nice, but if people are looking for long walks on the beach, it was short, only a 10 min walk before turning around to go back.
Lots of bars to head to for our drinks. Overall, a beautiful resort in keeping with the Sandals standards. On a personal note, we felt that the Barbados resort we were in was nicer than the newer Royal Sandals next door.
We only took 1 tour to the local Harrison caves. Well organized, and worth the $$. We also went snorkeling which was offered by Sandals (included) which was very good. Got to swim with the turtles!
