This hotel was the best, cleanest, friendliest and most efficient hotel I have ever stayed at!
From the beginning to the end of our family vacation everything was perfect!
The grounds are stunning and the beach is beyond beautiful.
The food was phenomenal with tons of variety and fabulous flavour.
The very best part of the stay was the staff....second to none...everyone was friendly and so accomodating.

The beach, the hammocks, the food, the staff! Strong wifi. Movie night on the beach! So many good points.

Had a good time, however there is a lot of room for improvement. I have been to other all inclusive resorts which were less expensive and the entertainment was soooo much more and better. The staff and the people of Barbados are the most friendly and hospitable of all the Caribbean. The entertainment really needs to be vamped up. We really enjoyed the band, Virgo - they should have performed more than 1 night because they were the most interactive and entertaining. [Details]

The strong points

The fact that it was safe to travel outside of the resort. The people and the staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. I was really impressed with the staff, especially Shanika - she was a sweetheart. I had no issue with the staff or the people

The weak points

needed more night time entertainment. Also, not up to expectations when compared to the larger chains like the RIU. It was overpriced for the quality of food and drinks, especially when compared with the RIU. )

The hotel is in a terrific location .Close to amenities. You can walk out of the hotel and have easy access to the regular buses or mini buses.Very relaxing location and if you want more you are just a walk or short ride away from Night life. This was our first time in Barbados and I would definitely recommned this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helful. One of the better locations is the Amaryllis. We had a full kitchen with Fridge ,stove, microwave ,dishes and pots and pans .Not your all inclusive type of resorts that you go to on other islands ,I think it is better . The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating .Housekeeping do an excellent job keeping the rooms clean.Hotel is in an excellent location and not that far from the airport . Close to amenities such as Banks stores and restaurants

The weak points

The restaurant at the hotel could do with more of a variety during meal times. The beach and water is great with the exception of too many rocks in the water. But that is nature

We had an end unit with balconies on 2 sides which was very nice. It was a
Superior Ocean Front Studio. If we go there agin in the winter we would like the same room even though the kitchenwas not as good as we had had before at the Amaryllis. [Details]
