Relaxing Stay

First time in Barbados, had a lovely relaxing stay. The resort is rated accordingly, however an excellent choice for price paid. We stayed on the 5th floor with an beautiful view! If you can upgrade to Ocean view do so! The water is lovely, food is plentiful & you have options to go outside of the resort if you want to. All the staff were friendly & accommodating.

We would return after staying at another resort upon our second trip to Beautiful Barbados. [Details]

The strong points

Front Desk/Reception - exceptional Location: Close to Oistins, The Gap. Bus/Taxis Rides, or nice walk to many bars, local stores. For the Price you pay for all inclusive in Barbados, this is a great place! The resort & grounds were all kept very clean.

The weak points

The Pool area & Pool Bar can be updated/renovated, along with some structural items in & around the resort. The in room washrooms toilet placement is a tad odd may be too quiet of a place if you're looking for night entertainment

The strong points

Very relaxing and quiet. The age set was middle to senior, no children, very friendly staff, not pretentious or showy, the most relaxing trip I have been on. A great place settle in and make your own agenda. Strongly recommend the ocean view balcony side

The weak points

There is set hours for food service, dinner is rather late. Front desk staff were efficient but not overly pleasant.

The hotel is really nice and clean. It is a small hotel, so it is comfortable that way. Yet, they are really missing umbrellas for the beach as they do not have enough for all guests, so if you need to be in the shade be early (8:45 a.m) to get an umbrella first come first serve. The hotel is not for young crowds as it really does not have a lot of entertainment and the one at night is for older than 40s crowd. The food is good, but not a lot of variety and it is hard to get a waitress to serve you wine for dinner s it is busy. The best food are the soups delicious butternut squash and pumpkin soups. Stephen at the beach is the best staff they have as the only one who cares to smile and be pleasant. Overall, it would appear that most people in the Island are harden by life and do not care to be pleasant, friendly or to smile. They are helpful when asked for info if they know, but they are really missing all the warmth that one feels when visiting other islands. There is no caribean warmth in here. Just being factual. Love the sun and if you get a chance go to Crane beach (you can go by bus)to see the pink sand. Banks beer is good and the Salty Dog (grapefruit with vodka andsalt on the rim) Other drinks are so so at the bar. [Details]

Clean rooms and quiet hotel due to no entertainment. Banks beer is good!

The weak points

The staff is missing some good customer service training, no pleasantries at all, just basic service. The beach needs more umbrellas as the hotel does not provide enough of them. When arriving, no lunch only tea at 4p.m.
