Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres

This resort is beautiful with a cool village area with lots of entertainment for everyone. The pools were very nice and we could always find a chair for our group. Unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed with the inconsistency of service from staff, and the quality of the food at the a la carte restaurants. The breakfast buffet had everything you wanted (Poseidon), however much of the food was cold on multiple occasions. The Indian restaurant was our favorite and the cafe was very unique. We experienced interruptions 2 of the nights - 1 false fire alarm at 2am and construction noise at 4am another day. We would not recommend upgrading to butler service as we are still unsure what value they offered. Cleanings were inconsistent so it was hard to plan when to be away from the room which lead to multiple days being missed. The water circuit at the Spa was very nice - would recommend this. Lastly, we would there was a lot of confusion around menus- labels in wrong spots at buffet and cafe, language barriers with a la carte waiters and menus not up to date on the app. This place could be a 10/10 if a few things were tweaked! My second time staying here. The first time seemed more enjoyable. Less obnoxious guests, better service and food at the buffet, and the amenities and activities were better before. This time it felt a bit boring with a lack of organized things to do with the team at the pool or around the hotel. [Details]

Fantastic trip to a very modern but very large property. Resort has both water taxis (thru a canal system) and golf carts transporting guests throughout the property. Great food options at both the buffets and a la carte. Awesome beach! [Details]

It's tough or not fair to review a place that you visited during this Covid-19 pandemic. We spent a lot of time reading news and messages from family and friends. But if focusing on the resort and staff here is what I thought. [Details]

An interesting and upscale place to spend a week. Charming 1920 style electric boats carry you along the main canal; electric carts are optional. Entertainment at Teatro is fun as in ‘Mexico Night': a cultural charmer. Elevators are noted for Seniors. A la Carte restaurants are excellent in food quality and service. The whole resort is brand new and very large. It's quite a hike to go from one spot to the other. There are boats and golf carts to move people around, but I don't think there's enough boats running. We waited for 10 mins for a boat once and finally just walked away. There's more carts running, but I don't know what the wait is like for one! Staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Food was great! Lots of pool activities for all types, Spanish lessons, bar tending, fruit carving, aquasize, dance lessons. [Details]

This hotel just recently opened. Our room was beautiful and the restaurants are finished with lovely design and good food. There is still a fair bit of construction happening and in the background was a constant "tap, tap, tap" and jackhammering somewhere. Go with an open mind and you will enjoy yourself! [Details]

Just returned on Nov 17 to 24, 18 transfer was with Iberoservice and extremely quick about a 30 minute distance due to being the only one in van.

Rooms are beautiful and large yes glitched with bath and shower but they are not fully operational which means no time to maintain rooms. I'm sure all will be up to par in 6 months. [Details]
