The strong points

The resort facilities, rooms, & staff are amazing. You won't be disappointed. Everyone is friendly & very accommodating Great restaurants Great rooms with comfortable beds & lots of space Clean pool and sitting area Wi-Fi access almost everywhere

The weak points

I wasn't a fan of the buffet options. I'm not saying it was bad food, it tasted amazing just wished for more options

An interesting and upscale place to spend a week. Charming 1920 style electric boats carry you along the main canal; electric carts are optional. Entertainment at Teatro is fun as in ‘Mexico Night': a cultural charmer. Elevators are noted for Seniors. A la Carte restaurants are excellent in food quality and service. The strong points

Canal boats are a hoot, for service to places or just for fun to cruise the huge property. Staff is attentive and welcoming as in ‘Angel' our fave waiter at the Isla Blanca Buffet. Balconies and breezes ameliorate any humid heat.

The weak points

Huge property my intimidate - for a 1/2 a day. Sports Bar food is iffy.

The whole resort is brand new and very large. It's quite a hike to go from one spot to the other. There are boats and golf carts to move people around, but I don't think there's enough boats running. We waited for 10 mins for a boat once and finally just walked away. There's more carts running, but I don't know what the wait is like for one! Staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Food was great! Lots of pool activities for all types, Spanish lessons, bar tending, fruit carving, aquasize, dance lessons. [Details]

New resort, beautiful. Staff. Food

The weak points

We did a massage in the spa. Very good, but very overpriced. Over $200 for an hour massage. The size of the whole resort can be a little overwhelming. You're in a very isolated area, it's a major trip to leave the resort to shop or go bar hopping.

This hotel just recently opened. Our room was beautiful and the restaurants are finished with lovely design and good food. There is still a fair bit of construction happening and in the background was a constant "tap, tap, tap" and jackhammering somewhere. Go with an open mind and you will enjoy yourself! [Details]

Just returned on Nov 17 to 24, 18 transfer was with Iberoservice and extremely quick about a 30 minute distance due to being the only one in van.

Rooms are beautiful and large yes glitched with bath and shower but they are not fully operational which means no time to maintain rooms. I'm sure all will be up to par in 6 months. [Details]

The strong points

The restaurant a la carte Italian Indian and Filet mignon at Steak Grill were all excellent. Grill by the pool amazing!! Service around the pool for drink excellent!

The weak points

Location of buffet isnt the best and always cold. Lack of transportation to the village and buffet. If you have mobility issues dont come to this resort.
