The strong points

Food was very diversified and fresh. Rooms and all areas of hotel were well maintained. Service was excellent. Plenty of bottled water. Water pressure was good in toilets. Staff were very polite and helpful.

The weak points

Water in shower was never hot but warm enough.

This stay was good. Food and restaurants were good. There was a plumbing problem while we were there that they knew about.

Entertainment was average. I never understand why all inclusives don't hire some local live bands to play. [Details]

Food and service was good.

The weak points

More Live bands and music. The TV had mostly Spanish channels whereas most of the ppl there spoke English. Better TV channels would be good.

Oh riu, I really wish you'd stop lying to your customers. This is NOT a 5 star resort; the beds are cheap and will make you sore, the pillows are ridiculously small and very very thin, the food is mediocre at best. Did we have a great time? Yes! Will we return to any of your resorts ever again, probably not. I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR RESORT! DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE WE WERE! [Details]

The staff are absolutely wonderful, without them you have nothing!

The weak points

The beds are cheap and horrible, the pillows are not real pillows, the toilet paper is 1 ply, the rooms smell of mold and mildew!

The suppers, entertainment and cleanliness were definitely the strong points.

The weak points

The buffet being the only option for breakfast and lunch was too much by the end.

The strong points

Super clean resort, always saw a staff member cleaning or maintaining the grounds and hotel itself. Adjacent Riu hotels were not very clean in comparison.

The weak points

Put me and my girlfriend into a room with 2 double beds so we had to move rooms after the first day to a king room as one was not available. Toilet paper quality is unacceptable so bring your own.

Wait staff excellent. Front staff not so much. Beautiful hotel, lots of space, quiet beach, beautiful view, close to shopping, cab services no problem. Transfer to and from the airport went smoothly. A little expensive but after all it was brand new. [Details]
