I'd say this hotel is number one in Cabo for entertainment and the restaurant the resort carried by far the best one and I have stayed at the RIU, ME Cabo if your going to Cabo you'll love this resort. [Details]

Kind of a mixed bag with this hotel. To start off the hotel is very modern and well maintained. Grounds and beach are spotless. For the most part staff are friendly and courteous. Food is really quite good. Check-in and out were quite fast and painless. Close to town and also bus stop short distance from the hotel. Things shut down early so getting a good rest was not a problem. Now things that were so great. TIMESHARE!! We're quite pushy at check-in but we avoided the sell there. Still kept on for a few days and were always asked about our gold card. We finally said we had one so they would leave you alone. Next was signing for EVERYTHING even if you were all inclusive. Slowed down all the services with this hassle. Pain when you wanted to leave any area as you had to wait for your server to bring you the bill. Now Cabo, quite nice but not at all like what real Mexico is . Very Americanized! Everything in US dollars. Very clean . Sharks were everywhere though , taking away from enjoying yourself as you always have your guard up and will miss the real nice Mexican people that I have grown to respect. They should have to be shaved bald and made to wear purple shirts so you don't have to waste your time with this scum!!! After that the rest was quite pleasant. [Details]

I would give it a 4 1/2*. At first we were disappointed as we didn't get full ocean view, however they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom and we got to see a good portion of the ocean. The staff are great. The food and drinks were amazing. It is a very clean resort. This has been our second time at this resort and will go back again anytime. [Details]

The hotel is not all inclusive for everyone there, you have to sign a bill even if you have an all inclusive plan, this slows service and is a pain in the butt. Selection of food is limited...Hot dog weiners for breakfast...really ? Dangerous to swim in ocean, beach is very steep, pools small but hotel clean and staff friendly. Checked out at 1100 A.M. had to wait 2.5 hours for bus. Wouldn't allow us to eat or have a drink at lunch without paying by credit card, so eat a big breakfast and order a bucket of beer before you check out. [Details]

We booked our vacation last minute, we didn't expect a lot, not knowing a lot about cabo. To our surprise, it was perfect. The resort was amazing, the beaches were gorgeous, the staff was so kind and I don't have a single regret about the selection we made. Al though the service was quite slow, it was always with a smile. Our rooms were more then we could have asked for and we were unbeleivably close to the marina, town and lovers beach. This was more then I could have ever asked for. We will be back. [Details]

Very disappointed upon arrival. A girl friend and I arrived and were given a room with one bed. after some negotating we were given a room with two beds but not with the ocean view we requested and paid for. The next day we were moved again and this was as per our request. There was no compensation for this and we were treated like we did something wrong. This held for the first couple of days we were there. Very frustrating after such a long day of travel. The beach they proclaim is swimable..not so much. The decline to the ocean front must be about 50 deg current is extremely strong with an immediate 2 - 3 foot drop off. This was very disappointing. Only one restraunt during the day and then one opened in the evening. The food was very bland (for Mexico). This was my sixth trip to Mexico and would have to say the food selection was quite poor. We ate out most of the time. There was very little for night life. We are not huge partiers but it seemed that after 9pm the place was deserted. [Details]
