The friendly staff. Like Cici ,Ron, Rick and of course Oswald the bartebder the pro of drinks and of course my massage by Carmen was excellent too

There is a push for you to go to google and mention there name as they get points Did not like that push all the time

Best Caribbean vacation of 17 we've taken. We had a beach house with Club Level. The property is magnificent including the landscaping, pools and buildings. Only 4-5 years old, well maintained. Most rooms have an ocean view although some are not labeled as such. All food was at gourmet level including taste and presentation. Service was very good although can be tip driven. Service is excellent but can be taken up even higher with tipping. Plan on $100 to $150 per week for tips. Entertainment very good and starts early and runs late to suit all ages and lifestyles. We've seldom stayed so late to see the entertainment at a resort. [Details]

The strong points

Property, service, food, entertainment. As carefree as it gets. Readily available room service. Over abundance of beach loungers including double beds usually an extra cost at other resorts. No setting the alarm to get up early to get a lounger.

The weak points

No significant issues. Tipping not required but ”appreciated”. Servers and maids let you know their schedule so you'll know when to leave their tip. Service is excellent but can be supercharged with tipping. About $100 to $150/week required.

We had a great week. Almost everything met or exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was semi open to the bedroom so that if you got up in the middle of the night and put the light on in the bathroom it shone on the bed hence the 4 butterfly review. Outstanding beach. No wrist bands, no reservations needed for restaurants and no getting up early to reserve a spot at the pool or beach. Very relaxing resort. First class! [Details]

The strong points

Warm crystal clear water on a white powder sand beach, large warm pool, room, friendly staff, very good food, as much shade at the pool or beach that you could want. The room and bed was very comfortable and everything worked well. Excellent large gym.

The weak points

Entertainment was just OK except for the Motown night. No whisky for two nights in a row at any of the bars. All black switches in the rooms that were very hard to see unless bright lights were on.

Hand sanitizer at all restaurants. All staff wore mask but it was not mandatory for the guests.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The food was great and the entertainment was great. The wait staff by the pool was amazing, especially LaTonya was fantastic. Disappointed in the beach as there was barely any space for chairs. The other week point was the staff at the coffee shop and we paid for club but our room was on the other side of the club area.

Our honeymoon at Excellence was the best , the staff were so friendly and polite and very helpful. This is our home away from home . Lafaine from Chez Isabelle was such a sweetheart and such a great person to talk with ! She took the time to guide us through the Jamaican night and told us exactly what foods we had to try . Our room was beside the main walkway and that's about the only thing we didn't like about our trip .

Pool bar ran out of beer and clamato juice one day. We found they closed too many restaurants nightly severely limiting choices . Our shower had low pressure and little to no hot water most days.
