Ocean Coral And Turquesa El Beso

I will start with the positive: the rooms I had were on the El Beso side, and they were really nice. The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to please you. However, the cleaning team didn't do a great job, as there were visible stains in the bathroom from the previous stay. I've had better cleaning services elsewhere. The food at the buffet lacked diversity and wasn't very tasty; there's definitely room for improvement in that area. On a brighter note, the à la carte restaurants were really good, especially Blue Moon. The resort lacked entertainment—it was boring at times. They could improve with better advertising and more engaging activities. It wasn't the worst experience, but I've had better, and I probably wouldn't return. [Details]

Beautiful, clean, well laid out for such a large resort. Amazing staff. Lots of food options.

Should have easy to access coffee (not room coffee) early in morning for those going on excursions.
Paid extra for El Beso because I stayed at another nearby Ocean in El Beso and it was soooo much fun! El Beso at OCT is literally quiet elevator music, no activities and no fun. So I barely spent time there beyond sleeping in my room. Nice to have a quiet area, but just wish I did not pay extra this time for it. [Details]

Very disappointing as we booked for an adult only experience. This is a family resort with a very small portion adult only. It is not an All Inclusive! One pool with no bar service or entertainment. Two restaurants one was a terrace are Adult Only. This is a Family Resort and very class conscious of what entitles you to by colour of your bracelet. Gold is Privilege.. we had silver for the price we paid. To upgrade to the gold to get a better service was 170 US a night over the price we paid. The gold gets you premiere drinks, a butler to reserve your dinners and reserve your lounge chairs. A special restaurant that is only allowed for members. Pressure from day one to buy into membership to get the Gold Bracelet.
The entertainment was catered to families as it was over the holidays.
The food in the buffet was hit or miss. Many times food not cooked and cold. [Details]
