When you first enter the resort you walk into an amazing lobby with a great view of the resort and the ocean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the preferred room arrangement, the only issue we had was everyone else in our group was given a preferred bag with towels in it but we weren't offered one at all. Not a huge deal. Just a little inconsistent.
Rooms were great. They had closets and drawers and a good sized tv for relaxing at the end of the night. Bathrooms were nice and big too.
- Room service was able to be booked an hour in advance and they were always prompt to arrive.
- Maids were good as well. Helped us manage 3 messy boys in our room.
Food was a bit of a mixed bag. Buffet was decent for breakfasts. Good selection of everything. The reservation system for the other restaurants was abysmal. Everything was snatched up immediately, a lot of the time you could walk up at 5pm and still get in which was nice. But while waiting, every single place had multiple empty tables when the reservation system said there was none left.
El Patio - was awful. Service was slow. Our food was cold and tasteless. Super dissapointing.
Bordeux - 10/10 - Amazing service and food! So tasty
Portofino - 9/10 - Again great service and food.
Asian - 8/10 - Great food and great service. Only issue is we had to wait 2.5 hours to actually get a table. We saw many empty tables while we waited.
Bluewater Grill - Great breakfast. 6/10 supper - Food was alright. Steak was supposed to be Angus, but if it was it came from a bull that was anorexic. Steak was very anemic and oversalted.
Oceania - 6/10 - Service was great. Milkfish dish was great. The tempera fish was very greasy and mushy in the middle. The octopus was burned.
The preferred status was worth it for the Preferred Lounge and pretty much it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great perk to have. They have the best booze in there, finger food and coffee. Plus you can just sit in there and chill. Otherwise though, there is a preferred pool, but there was no one ever checking to see if you were actually preferred. So it's hard to say if it was actually a perk. What I do know is the chair game is for real at the resort. If you are not out there at 6am then you are out of luck. The resort has signs up saying 30-45 minutes only, but I never saw it enforced. One day I saw 2 chairs left with someone's stuff on it for 3 hours. I stole a chair and the umbrella and when the guy came stomping back a further hour later he angrily had one of the attendants replace it for him. Kinda stupid.
The other thing is the Corezone which was only from 13-17 year olds. They would not budge from that even though my twins were almost 13. They had family time from 1-2 and 6-7 but it was packed to the gills. The explorer club was from 6-12 years old, but honestly it should be 6-10, it's definitely too young for our 12 year olds.
The sargassum was of course bad, but the resort had a tractor clearing it off multiple times a day. The sandy beaches were amazing.
Overall we did enjoy our time at the resort. It's very clean and well maintained. It doesn't have a lot of Mexican charm though, we've stayed at different resorts that just felt a little less corporate. Again, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, just an observation. The resort itself is very small, so aside from a few things there is not much to do beside drink and lay by the pool, which is honestly why we went of course!
I think overall I would rate it a 7/10. We enjoyed our time there, but I don't think we would go back. [Details]

The strong points
- Very clean and well maintained
- Staff were always friendly
- Rooms were a good size with closets and drawers
- Pools were nice
-
The weak points
- Corezone was staunchly 13-17 years old. Kids 11-12 are too old for the Explorer club. There was no exceptions. That was disappointing.
- El Patio - food was terrible and service was slow. Took us 2.5 hours to get through the meal. Food was cold
Sanitary measures
They cleaned up the seaweed multiple times a day.

My family and I were so happy and impressed with Dreams Natura. We stayed for 7 nights and we're impressed with everything this resort had to offer. Thank you for a great stay and we will look to be back in the future. [Details]

The strong points
Beautiful room. Great food and restaurants. Great staff that was always so polite and happy to help with any questions. Waterslides and lazy river were awesome for my kids.
We were invited to attend a wedding at this resort. We had no issues with the hotel transfers, it was about a 10 minute wait for the shuttle and took about 15 minutes to the resort. Check in was also quick and easy.
Our room was ocean view and it didn't disappoint. The room was nice and spacious. Our mattress and pillows however were very uncomfortable. Did not sleep well due to that.
The resort had nightly entertainment which was something to look forward to each night. Great performances.
One thing we were disappointed in was when we would order drinks, we had to tell them we wanted alcohol in it, for an all inclusive we shouldn't have to keep reminding them we wanted alcoholic drinks. Our room as well only had beer, water and pop, no hard alcohol.
We also found the food at the buffet was starting to get repetitive.
We had one day free to go off the resort to go shopping and it was $120USD for a taxi and the concierge did not tell us that on Sundays, not all stores would be open and it was also voting day which meant no alcohol were allowed to be sold. We were not happy about that. [Details]

A wonderful time at a Great Resort. Dreams Natura is a compact, well appointed family resort. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food quality is good, although with only 1 average size buffet, and as busy as the resort was, some food choices limited. Very clean resort, and a nice beach. The spa is one of a kind and I would highly recommend. Allen in the Bordeaux deserves special mention for going above and beyond in his service. You will enjoy this resort for it's quality and cleanliness. It's a long way from the highway so remember public transit not really an option and cabs are very expensive here [Details]

The strong points
Cleanliness is excellent and the staff work very hard to maintain it.
The friendly staff throughout, from the time you arrive, to the pool service and the alacarte restaurants, make Dreams Natura stand out. Special mention to Allen in The Bordeaux
The weak points
The pools are small and get over loaded.
This resort is a long way from the highway, so public transit not easy and cabs very expensive.
The entertainment in the theatre poorly advertised, and the theatre not easily identifiable.

I travelled with my husband, 8 and 11 year old children. My daughter turned 11 while were there and they made it special with a cake in the room. The resort is close to the airport and the rooms were very clean, yet the humidity was high. They brought us a dehumidifier which helped a lot and lowered the set AC limit so that made it comfortable.
You can use the App to request anything. One day housekeeping didn't clean our room so for the remainder of the week I requested it to be done using the app once we left the room for the day.
The pools were amazing and we all enjoyed them. The beach wasn't the nicest for swimming but the sand was wonderful white and soft. We did swim in the ocean by walked down to the Royalton Splash next door and swam there. They had a barrier in the water to keep the seaweed away and had tractors to remove what was on the shoreline unlike dreams who had men manually removing it.
My kids enjoyed the lazy river, and water slides (the tub slide was closed). The rock wall and Roller Glider were also a hit. The resort had daily activities set up for kids (bull riding, trampoline etc). The teens club has family hours and it is just like a full arcade. My kids could go solo to get a break from the sun.
I did not like that they shut down a section of the main pool for weddings. The poor workers would spend entire days setting up and taking down. There should be a set location for this. One day they closed a section, set up a wedding that never happened.
They charge $3 UDS per person per day to use water sports. I wasn't impressed by this as its usually free at other resorts.
The chair game is real but we never had issues getting a shady spot. We were by the pool most days by 8am.
The BlueWater Grill is AMAZING for lunch and supper. We ate here daily.
The gift shop is crazy expensive. $50 UDS for sunscreen and $70 UDS for stuffed animals for the kids. They price themselves out of sales.
