Mexico Hotel Ratings Need Review

The Fives residence is rated approx. 4.5 . Mexican hotels generally are highly overrated . This hotel is a solid 3-3.5. Room cleaning very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel tired and requires some TLC. Lobby washrooms toilets plugged, 1 elevator unserviceable for 3 days and counting. No hot water for 24 hours. Most rooms face inward, dark. More concerning a number of signed fire doors off lobby have their latches covered which is a safety issue. Stay in an actual 4-5 star hotel and this rating system problem is evident. [Details]

Cleaning room every day, great staff, nice roof top pool

Found Cockroaches in the corridor and bathroom, not the hotel's fault they were cleaning on a daily basis

Was a nice hotel we stayed all inclusive ended up with very smelly room of smoke and mildew hotel said nothing they can do staff are very friendly but all ways have hand out for tip. Location was amazing. I would not stay again. Find hotel in area that's cheaper and just enjoy the town. [Details]
