We went last minute could not beat the price, we had a great time met lots of fellow Canadians, breakfast buffet was really good, quality selection over quantity. so many places to eat in town. We absolutely fell in love with Barra de Navidad and will be returning. We met so many Canadians who live there 6 months of the year. We have been all over Mexico and this was the first place that we felt so comfortable and safe. No pressure no hassle holiday. We would highly recommend [Details]

Overall we had a great trip.The breakfasts were fine and since we were out exploring we didnt spend a lot of time in our rooms which were clean and decent.The local town has many great eating establishments and the beaches are great but it is a 10 minute walk from the hotel if you have limited mobility.It is a great place to stay to explore the local culture. We had a great time at Cabo Blanco! The service been very prompt and pleasant. If you like a smaller resort then this be perfect. The rooms are clean, have a beautiful pool, a singular activity area, and a restaurant area. About a 15 minute leisurely walk brings you to Barra de Navidad which has the ocean, more activities, boat to nearby beaches and another hotel, restaurants, shops, buses to other areas, festival if there at that time of year. Food was great and some bars with some live entertainment. Excuse the spelling but special thanks for making an extra pleasant vacation to Gabriella,Eduardo,Alex,Paul,Pepe and his wife and Mom from Pepe's restaurant,there had been another pleasant waiter but can't think of his name, the reception staff especially the ladies who always had a smile like Gabriella, the Sea Master and the waiter who many times stood outside to greet the customers. Sorry for forgotten names, and so many were so pleasant and so many great businesses that we cannot list/name all of them. Shame it took so long to write. Just and awesome time, clean rooms, great area, and felt safe throughout. Berna custom made a nice tour if the lagoon by boat, very special person and as he promotes the town takes care of you, as he and so many did...Berna went above and beyond. We were very impressed with the Spanish style of the hotel, the cleanliness and the staff were amazing.Very helpful, very understanding, genuine and caring. We will definetly be back. Very quiet hotel way better than a large resort where everyone does nothing but drink. We walked to town and saw the sights and interacted with the towns people. Learned alot about the Mexican culture. [Details]
