Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort

This relatively new resort did not disappoint! The facilities were beautiful and spotless and the dining was very good. The ocean was warm and the beachfront kept very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all! [Details]

We have been to eleven all inclusive resorts in the DR and Mexico over the last 25 years. Serenade All Suites was generally a pleasant experience. Obviously the resort is having some growing pains regarding service and staff training and supervision and maintenance . The floor of the elevator we used was not cleaned the entire week we were there. There was mud, crumpled paper and hair on the floor.
At the ocean buffet the hostess seating was never closer than 15 feet and never spoke to us. She pointed to a table that had 2 placemats on it,one set of cutlery, no glassware and no napkins.Eventually the waiter arrived with two glasses and water. He took our drink order(one cola and one orange juice). We proceeded to the buffet and returned to our table. Our drinks didn't arrive until we had finished our food. The food and atmosphere were good so we got drinks at the pool bar and returned a second time for lunch. We were directed to see the same hostess who was on the opposite side of the dining area. She pointed to a table 15 feet away. We went to the table and placed our drinks(two glasses of cola) on the unset table. When we returned from the buttef our full drinks were gone and someone was sitting at “our” table.?!?!??!! [Details]

Truly enjoyed the grounds, food and drinks.
The pool service was fantastic.
The Steak House was excellent.

Attended over Christmas. Rooms are nice and modern. Lots of TV channels for late night bedtime viewing, only problem is 97% are in Spanish. Food at all Ala Cart and Buffet was excellent. Not a single complaint. Beach and pool were great chairs all had pads which was a nice touch. Staff were amazing and always very helpful. [Details]

Newly build, busman Abraham was amazing, pool bar Roberto and Starlin great and always in a good mood!
Restaurant foods were tasty and mostly hot, smaller portions in dishes for buffet quickly replaced for fresh food and never stall, overall pool, beach and lobby always very clean, room staff cleaners need training for deep clean tho. Room mini Bar always filled up, except for chips snack- saw some rooms got chocolat bars also however we never did.
A la carte menu mostly good, some nights some restaurants had different menus or unavailable dishes we ordered so we had to change for other choices. Overall very tasty but better on adult only side. Very limited restaurants on adult only.
Many pools, family side great animation for kids, kids pool was nice, actvities were good for them. Overall shows are very very limited! One beach show every 3-4 days, one evening show very limited budget but confortable theater. Staff is friendly all the time but when you need extra help, it's difficult to get straight answer and quick assistance. Room service was fine for food. Beach was big and clean and can walk litterally for miles throughout public area and see different hotels near that were not cleaned much and had little sand compared.
Hotel stores are really expensive and not worth buying anything unless willing to pay at least thrice regular prices.
Many bars and not too much wait ever, good alcohol quality and drinks, main lobby has best.
Internet was a real issue very unstable, slow.
Proposed activities for $ were expensive compared to other resorts we've been.
Reserve early for a la carte as quickly full!
Christmas party was not really great compared to many hotels we've been to. A little more choices but not that much, adult side not much animation or decoration. Even music was lacking.
Lobby lounge singer, saxophone, piano was nice some evenings. Kids playrooms were great and had many games.

If you like relaxing vacations and good food it's a great place.
Would say more 4,5/5 stars not real 5 stars experience for us.
If you're looking for activities and to party not the place or to work from your laptop although quiet internet was terrible.. [Details]

We spend a nice relaxing 6 nights at the Serenade adults only. The adult only side wasn't super busy this time of year so it was a nice relaxing trip. The food was great you have 2 buffets and 2 restaurants but each restaurants as 2-3 different menus (tepinyaki, a la carte, sushibar, steakhouse all la carte or a course menu. There are daily activities like dance, yoga, volleyball, the animation team was super friendly even though we mostly choose to relax the whole time lol. You also have access to the familial side which as a bit more activities (night club, nightly shows and other special activities) and a bit bigger main buffet, a sport bar, a lunch buffet and other a la carte restaurants. There's 3 pool on each side a VIP pool (7 total) and some waterslides which were really fun. We honestly didn't have time to even try all the restaurant and activities and the buffet was so good rgood with different options every night so we almost wanted to eat a the buffet more lol. The drinks were really good to me but I'm not a big drinker so I don't like my drinks super strong lol. The only think is we had an issue with our room not locking and we had arrived pretty late, someone came right away to our room to fix it but it did take them a long time and I was a bit annoyed that I couldn't enjoy my first night but other than that the service was still amazing they have a lot of staff and everyone was super friendly and maids would clean and refill the mini fridge sometimes twice a day. The beach is pretty nice and gets cleaned regularly but I will say it is not the best spot I have ever seen with a lot of algue in the water but thats only natural. We still got to see some fish tho if you don't mind swimming over it. The wifi was pretty good and all over the property. Overall I would recommend this hotel to a friend anytime and I hope they continue to uphold this high service standard in the future has I know the hotel is fairly new. [Details]
