Dreams Flora Resort And Spa

Dreams Flora, Punta Cana is an exceptional hotel and we highly recommend it. Travelling as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, aged 9 and 6), this hotel met every one of our family's requirements.

The bus ride from the airport is only 20 minutes. Fantastic when travelling with kids.

Food was beyond exceptional in terms of quality and selection. The buffet has plenty of options in addition to the numerous A La Carte restaurants (Italian, Grill, Japanese, etc). There is also a mini-buffet made for kids that always have « safer » foods such as quesadillas, fries, hamburgers, pasta bar, pigs in a blanket, not to mention the dessert bar as well.
Gluten free section is also quite impressive.
Food was definitely a 10/10.

Service was impeccable. All staff were courteous and friendly.

Strongly recommend taking the upgrade to « Preferred Club » to have private check-in & check-out, your personal butler for the week, private pool/hottub/bar&resto, and other perks.

The weather was absolutely perfect, despite it being hurricane season.

Amenities were wonderful. Grounds were big but not too big that the elk was unbearable. Very clean and beautiful to look at. Pool was big and clean, never felt overcrowded. Bars everywhere.
Cafe offered specialty coffee and wraps/bagels/sandwiches blue ice cream for the kiddos.

Nightly entertainment: there is live music every evening in the lobby followed by the shows (Rock show, Circus show, Dominican show, Freddy Mercury Show….), followed by dancing in the lobby afterwards. Beach party one night is also not to miss!

Water park was a hit for the kids! 7 big slides (minimum height for kids…. I'd say must be around 7 years old), and adults with a smaller, kiddie water park for the little ones right beside.

It was our first time visiting Dreams Flora and it was such an amazing experience! The staff are incredible - everyone is friendly and wants to help. The staff at the restaurants and bars helped make our experience such a great one! The room was clean and updated, the shows were fantastic and the food was really good - I was concerned to travel to DR as the last time I had visited the food in the DR was not great and I was concerned however the food was really good and surprised me. The beach had a lot of seaweed so that was unfortunate but it was great seeing that there were a lot of umbrellas and shade to be found which was much needed. We loved this resort. We upgraded to "preferred" status so we had access to a beachside restaurant for breakfast and lunch and a lounge which was a nice addition to the regular amenities. The pools were great, the kids loved the water slides and the beach was nice and calm. Would definitely go back. [Details]

Our butler frank/francisco has been amazing and has gone above and beyond! He ordered my son amoxycillin went to get it and brought it to our room, he took care of my mom who came in later then us answering any of our questions and even brought a birthday cake to our room for our son!! I just cannot say enough amazing things about frank! We will definitely be returning just based on his service alone!

A relaxing trip, not much of a party place, great for us old folks or families [Details]

Our 2 week stay at the Dreams Flora Resort and Spa in Punta Cana was fantastic! The hotel/resort was impeccable. Luxurious, clean, attention to detail and so accommodating. The food was excellent - the fruit was so fresh and delicious. My husband has some food allergies and the selection was great for him. Loved that we didn't have to reserve a restaurant each night. The restaurant selections were so good! Our favorite, the Seaside Grill, we went to 4 times. The manager there, Roberto, is definitely a star employee at the resort. Also shout out to Marlin, Wanda, Nestor at the pool bar. And to the wonderful entertainment team that made every day fun and festive, our kids still talk about them. The beach set up was great the sand was so beautiful and not burning hot, the water had its moments. Some seaweed on some days which we avoided by going to the clearer part of the water. Unavoidable but we didn't let it deter us from the cool Caribbean sea. Also, the water park was a huge hit with my 10 and 16 year old! What a treat - we ended every day there. [Details]
