2nd time as good as the first!

This is our second time at this resort and we are looking forward to a third. The layout of the grounds does create good space between the family section and the adult-only section. The daily entertainment added some fun to daily activities. And the staff is first class. [Details]

The strong points

The staff at this resort is top-class, friendlier, and more helpful than other resorts we have stayed at.

The weak points

Food could be better, and regulating the temperature in your room was a challenge.

Daily service was excellent and the turndown service at night also cleaned the room.

I took my daughter on this trip and it was our first time in the DR. It was a beautiful resort and we felt safe. Our room was absolutely beautiful with an ocean view. Overall our trip was great however this is not a truly adults only resort as advertised. There are only 2 places where children are asked not to attend. Children are even allowed to attend the Punch bar where adults are heavily drinking and vaping. The worst part of our vacation was the push to buy into the hotel chain. Our Concierge misled us into believing he was there to support our trip and activities. He arranged to meet us at breakfast to discuss the excursions we wanted to do and when we met him he told us we were actually going to listen to a presentation about buying into the hotel brand. He pressured us to attend by saying he got credit for us attending. This was the worst experience. [Details]

The strong points

Clean, friendly, safe, beautiful rooms, lovely pools, excellent food, one afternoon there was an amazing pool party with music, pool foam and dancers.

The weak points

Not truly adults only, hard sell to buy into the hotel brand, extra charge for pool cabanas, beach has tons of rocks do not walk without shoes, the Ocean is full of rocks shelves and is shallow. Beach was man made and needs more sand.

We had a great time. All staff members are WONDERFUL. The ones, who stood out are: Ms. Juana (Punch Bar), Mr. Leo and Mr. Garcia (Sailing, Scuba Aquatics), and Mr. Ariel (Beach, drinks).
Great live music, (Ismail on drums, Havier on Saxophone are outstanding musicians).
Restaurants are very nice, (Steakhouse, Italian, Landshark, coffee shop, .....) [Details]
