We loved this resort and felt very safe. The beach was beautiful, the rooms were nice and big and the food was amazing. It was super hot at all times during our stay. We spent most of the time in the ocean or the pool. We went twice across to the island and walked up and down Playa Blanca which was beautiful and a nice long walk. We went on two excursions and really enjoyed ourselves. We did the city tour of Cartagena and the bio-luminescent swim at night. We also enjoyed the nightly show.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great service. Food is okay. location is the best. Second time staying in this hotel.

What I noticed, this hotel books a lot of students groups, children and teenagers. Other groups as well. A little bit noisy and not too much space to walk in the lobby while people checkin in and out. They dont have elevators for people coming from the beach, sometimes it's very messy. Too many people in the elevators and too long waiting for one. In the restaurant, they should introduce more grain salads and introduce more cuttlery to handle foods. I saw kids and people taking food with bare hands. Maybe staff should serve? Variety of fruits and juices were available. I give 3 and a half butterflies for hotel and food. 5 butterflies for staff.

The hotel sits outside of the city where most citizens reside. It is quite, and very welcoming. The food was delicious and Colombian. The staff were helpful, and kind. The staff wears colourful smocks so it's easy to distinguish them from guests. Some rooms do need a touch-up here and there, but this is a budget hotel, it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. You get more than you pay for when you stay at Coco Plum. The hotel sits directly on a beautifully white sand beach,there are also lots of activities at your convenience.

Hôtel viellot mais propre. Endroit isolé qui favorise la détente. La nourriture est moyenne. Les déjeûners manquent de variété (gruau seulement 1 jour, aucune bananne de la semaine). Les soupes se ressemblent (poisson, poulet et boeuf) et ont pratiquement le même goût. Je m'attendais à mieux du côté nourriture vu que normalement on mange très dans un Decameron. Le personnel est accueillant et très gentil. Le zoo (gratuit) fut une agréable surprise. On peut y nourrir les singes, perroquets, etc.)

Hotel was much better than I imagined... clean and friendly. Rooms were bigger than expected and great balcony. However, there was no airconditioning during the day. Although we were out most of the time, it was uncomfortably stuffy in our room when we returned around 5:00 - seems that the A/C only gets turned on in the early evening?? (Reception said it was broken, but we noticed it always came on in the evening). Beach was small, but we always found a spot. Food was good, with a small variety each night. If you want R&R, this is the place to visit, quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this hotel! And I plan on vacationing at other Decameron resorts. Marazul gave a great first impression.
