This older resort is well-maintained. The rooms are nice and large, which is a bonus. The grounds are spectacular, built on a cliff. However, it's not recommended for those with mobility issues, as stairs are required to access the beach, although ramps are available, they are steep. The food is great and the alcohol selection is fine. If you like Rye Whiskey, you'll need to bring your own, as they only serve Scotch Whiskey. The cleanliness of the resort was fantastic. Smoking is permitted in certain open-air areas, but not in restaurants or by the pools. The grounds are kept very clean. It's about 1.5 hours from the airport, and they provide air-conditioned transportation. I highly recommend this place. We loved the staff, the lush gardens, and the food. We didn't see the entertainment, but enjoyed sitting in the main lobby. The staff isn't used to tipping, but they do appreciate it. Bring their currency, as they prefer it.

Overall OK. Room was OK. Hot water in bathroom was a problem never properly fixed during our whole stay Pool bar was terrible .Poor hours and poor choice of drinks.It was all set up for paying drinks. See next section

The hotel sits outside of the city where most citizens reside. It is quite, and very welcoming. The food was delicious and Colombian. The staff were helpful, and kind. The staff wears colourful smocks so it's easy to distinguish them from guests. Some rooms do need a touch-up here and there, but this is a budget hotel, it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. You get more than you pay for when you stay at Coco Plum. The hotel sits directly on a beautifully white sand beach,there are also lots of activities at your convenience.

Hôtel viellot mais propre. Endroit isolé qui favorise la détente. La nourriture est moyenne. Les déjeûners manquent de variété (gruau seulement 1 jour, aucune bananne de la semaine). Les soupes se ressemblent (poisson, poulet et boeuf) et ont pratiquement le même goût. Je m'attendais à mieux du côté nourriture vu que normalement on mange très dans un Decameron. Le personnel est accueillant et très gentil. Le zoo (gratuit) fut une agréable surprise. On peut y nourrir les singes, perroquets, etc.)

Not having any previous knowledge of the hotel I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Checking in was handled quickly and efficiently by a friendly staff person. I was advised of the many services provided by the hotel including a spa and rooftop pool which I used daily. My overall experience was very positive one and would consider staying at this hotel on a return visit to Cartagena
