The strong points

Close to airport, downtown and 20 min walking distance to Decameron Aquarium and Delfinos.

The weak points

Close to airport (noise for takoffs - fortunately not many at nite) and hotel beach and pool are modest, as was the one double bed (some rooms have bigger beds but were booked).

My wife and I have visited San Andres about ten times in the last ten years and have stayed at all hotels except the Aquarium. The Maryland is definitely our favourite, mainly because it is small in size and has excellent food. We also like the fact that it is walking distance to town. The staff make us feel very welcome and are very friendly. [Details]

The strong points

Good food. Nice rooms. Small hotel, therefore no long line-ups at the buffet.

The weak points

For some the noise of the airplanes taking off could be a problem. Because of its small size, only one pool and not very good for activities.
