Great quiet hotel
I really enjoyed my stay—both the room and the service were excellent. I'd recommend downloading the app; it made things very convenient. Whenever we left the room, we could simply request housekeeping through the app, and they came promptly. Everything ran smoothly, whether we were heading out for dinner or grabbing a quick snack. We didn't use room service, but it was nice to have the option. I also appreciated the hotel's efforts to stay on top of the seaweed situation and keep the beach clean. In fact, everything was clean and new-looking. One area for improvement would be the availability of beach chairs. It often felt like a “first-come with your items to save, but never attend” situation. When I asked a staff member for help, I was told all chairs were taken, even though many appeared unused for hours with belongings left on them. Better management of this would really enhance the experience. Drink service on the beach could also be improved. I did leave the resort briefly for a walk along the hotel strip and unfortunately had a negative experience with local police who attempted to solicit a bribe. While this is not the hotel's fault—and I didn't report it at the time—I would recommend staying on the resort property for peace of mind. I felt very safe while on the hotel property. Lastly, my partner became quite ill on our final day, which made for a difficult trip home. Make sure you bring supplies!

Fun, Relaxing, Unforgettable
We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel! It is smaller but was absolutely perfect for us, I do not think we would have had the same experience at a larger resort. The pool and beach areas were both fantastic and it was definitely the cleanest stretch of beach around us. There are cabanas that can be rented for a fee but we never found it difficult to find beach chairs if you got to the beach at a reasonable time as they do not allow people to claim chairs before 8am. There was some sargassum at the time we went but not enough to stop us from being in the water. The bar was in the lobby area and we made lots of friends chatting while drinking at night. This is not high level luxury but we thought it was a lovely property and the size made it easy to make friends. We saw children while there but there are no kid specific activities so I would say this is more of an adult orientated hotel. If someone is a huge foodie this might not be the place for them as the choices at the buffet tended to be similar from day today but we were not super picky and able to enjoy ! One party member is celiac and found options limited but could still eat; another had nut/seafood/ coconut allergy. Chianti and umami were able to accommodate her allergies and she was able to use discretion at the buffet. You are not allowed to take food from any restaurants even as leftovers so make sure you eat your fill as after 10pm there is no snacks etc available. All the staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. It was extremely easy to catch the bus anywhere from the front of the hotel. We booked our excursions on our own but they have staff who can assist with this at the hotel. Overall we all had an absolutely amazing time and would go back !

Underwhelming - left a day early
The hotel has potential but needs an update really bad - maintenance is key and it's clearly lacking - out of order signs littered this place and it's unacceptable. The elevators are also a huge problem - they had one down all week and it was a topic I heard a lot - sometimes you're waiting 15 mins to get a lift. Also WIFI did not work AT ALL. I had to pay 18$ a day for roaming to even have a chance at doing anything the wifi constantly connected but “no internet connection” the TV was also not working right freezing constantly due to lack of internet. Food - a la cartes aren't bad but nothing special. The buffet was very repetitive. Some things that stood out to me was there was no bacon at breakfast, and there's no toaster. Bread in abundance but never seen a resort with neither of these things. Other negatives - very hard to get a server to bring you a drink or clear your table and the stations were only half open and the resort was at capacity. Another mention “free room service” is not free they have a surcharge - very misleading. Bars / drinks - I get it's a family resort but everything shuts down at 11 - even the night club and sports bar. This was a surprise but that wasn't the worst part - when booking I was booking the “all inclusive” package stated it was unlimited local and imported alcohol - this was a lie - I couldn't get anything but local unbranded spirits that were almost undrinkable. All the alcohol on the shelves they display are for “members” which I never knew. One other mention - the beach bar was not open one time all week so you had to go up to the pool area to get drinks.. when do they open this? They said they're at capacity. Rooms - room was large but extremely outdated and run down. Mini fridge was broken and needed replaced. Safe was locked and couldn't get in. Bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close all the way (great way to kill the romance). Our patio door was broken - locking latch broken, exterior handle missing and the made the loudest screech when opening and closing. They did although keep the rooms pretty clean but desperately needs an update. Also booked “partial ocean view” only view to be had was if I leaned over my balcony. Staff - here's the only thing keeping it alive. David from the sports bar was awesome, he made my drinks somewhat drinkable as well as Israel at the pool bar, great guy. Lastly we met Alain who was a manager in the restaurants he was a saving grace and the only reason this will get a 2 star rating vs a 0-1.
