Overall stay was fine.

It's a disappointment. Sunset at the Palms shows 4.5 star reviews but this is 2 or 2.5 star resort the most. Don't expect much. Food in a restaurant - no selection, no ham, salami, no lemon, no lime, ….poor selection of food, some fruits but not looking good. Italian night had not have enough spaghetti or tomato sauce. Will not go back, and I think this is my last time to go to Jamaica. Beach is nice but small and not for swimming or snorkeling, just for floating in a 4ft deep water the max. Towels were not changed every day in a room.

Just returned from Jamaica and made the RIU reggae home for the week. We had nothing bad to say about our stay. The rooms were clean and possibility even newly renovated. The beach was very clean and calm so we spent a lot of time there. The pools had all the activities and the entertainment was really good. Everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the buffet and found the al carte a little disappointing. There are so many options so you will not go hungry. I think I would have preferred the palace for my next trip as there were a few extra I would have liked.

We stayed here for our 30th anniversary in the Diamond Club section and had a great time. Food and beverages were better than expected. The hotel is showing regular wear and tear due to the weather and salt water, but the grounds crews are constantly cleaning and fixing things. This did not bother us at all. We will definitely be back again with friends and family.

The room beachside was explained to us at front desk as meaning… not seeing the beach from your room but being near the beach. The room had a lot of sand on floor and a tampon wrapper on the floor near garbage. Also on arrival we were told that we were not entitled to coupons. Why they would bring up such an issue is beyond me. Just before we left the lobby on arrival there was a meeting set up the next day for return flight info and excursions available. However when we went for the meeting we were told she is off until Monday. We arrived on Thursday. Not a very good feeling upon entering a resort! We did go back to front desk and they had the room cleaned the next day… oh I forgot … and the screen fixed. Everything went pretty well after that. Beautiful resort, nice beaches in cove area, not a long beach though for walking alongside. Their app doesn't allow you make dinner reservations at a la cartes … it keeps saying nothing is available but if you go to guest relations they will assist you. The négril buffet had very poor service… many times we would have our breakfast eaten before coffee would be served. The other two buffets were awesome! A la cartes were the best! Excellent food! The only disappointment was at the Jamaican restaurant where we waited over an hour for our food.

Booked this trip for girlfriend 60th birthday. Stayed 6 nights

I usually love going to this hotel because of the location and the food. This time was very disappointing. I was last there two years ago and it has gotten worse and the storm has nothing to do with it. Running out of towels, no clean sheets/pillow cases, and of all things no keys! I had to share a key which meant that I couldn't go off on my own in case the other person needed access to the room. The food was not as great. The service even worse. You could see that people didn't care about their job. It's like we were lucky they showed up. There were a few that tried, the coffee bar lady and the towel service lady (I think she was entertainment the last time unless they were short staff) and the one cleaning lady that tried to get me clean sheets. I hate to admit it but this gem I do love and referred others to will no longer get that love from me. I'll have to find another place to stay if I ever decide to come back to Jamaica. Please do better Decameron!

The hotel staff are genuine and attentive. The seafood gala buffet was incredible. While the rooms are dated- the beaches are stunning

Hotel staff's was above what was expected every one was extremely informative and helpful for all inquiries. The buffet was beautiful and a nice variety everyday. The ala cartes were very well prepared and done to perfection.

I was completely disappointed with this restaurant. What was supposed to be adults only was not. The only areas that dis not have children was the pools and beach. We left our reservation at the Zen restaurant because we were going to be sat with 6 children. The white Party was not on the beach... instead it was in the entertainment center with kids. The only good restaurant was the text mex. Staff was rude only talking to you if you said something to them first.
