Beautiful Resort, but bugs are horrendous

, Foymount, ON
2024-10-03
Pros: Beautiful, modern resort with working elevators
Absolutely stunning beach
Wonderful staff
Cons: Bugs terrible before 9am and after 7 pm - year round as surrounded by swampy areas
As with all of Cuba, poor food and beverage selection- you better enjoy pasta for duration of stay, hopefully you aren't diabetic - no diet drinks
Only allowed 2 beer in room fridge for duration of stay, no pop, and a large bottle of water as needed
Customer service wouldn't answer their phone, went to office and the person working was there with his feet up on desk and ignoring ringing phone [Details]

There was enough food , however it was poorly prepared ... The only good meal was risotto at the beach bar and the chicken at the Brazilian restaurant. Risotto was available only twice during my stay. There was no daily activities/sports

Great Getaway

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. The beach is absolutely beautiful, which is why most of us travel to Cuba, this resorts beach will not disappoint.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and did the most they could with what they have.
My room was clean and inviting, be aware they only fill your fridge the first day and by file I mean you get a couple beer. This isn't a game changer for me. I got water everyday and any of the bars refilled my water bottle(s).
Food - I preferred the a la cartes to the buffett. I found the food better. Breakfast always had eggs, bread, cheese etc…fruit and veggies were limited. I didn't go hungry, but if you're a picky eater bring some things like PB, hot sauce, oatmeal etc.. The pool snack bar had tuna or ham sandwiches, sometimes they had fries but it was hit and miss. I anticipated this as it was off season.
I will return. [Details]

[Details]

[Details]

My best trip to Cuba

, Sherbrooke, QC
2024-06-05
After 7 or 8 trips to Cuba to different corners of this fantastic Island, in different hotels (Varadero, Cayo Santa Maria and Holguin), this is really the first time that I have fallen in love with this magnificent and fabulous destination, and this, thanks to my last stay in Cayo Peredon (from May 17 to 24, 2024). It is mainly thanks to this new hotel by the sea which is the GRAN ASTON. It is an exceptional jewel whether in terms of the heavenly beach, in terms of the cleanliness of the rooms as well as that of the entire hotel spaces, but also thanks to the joviality, the generosity, the sense of the humor and concern for the customer shown by all staff, without exception, in a spontaneous, sincere, natural and generous manner. I really can't believe it! The rooms are modern, very clean and very well maintained. The common areas are as well. In this little paradise, we really feel at home, we who trade our beautiful house, our luxury and our comfort, for a hotel room for a week or two. All the staff members I met or simply encountered gave me the impression of being cousins, nephews and nieces that I was discovering for the first time. In other words, I felt happy, delighted, appreciated, comfortable and safe during my entire short week of vacation. I never went back to the same hotel in Cuba even if I came back to the same part of the island. I always wanted to discover spaces and get to know new personalities. This time on the other hand, I will, without the slightest hesitation, return to this magnificent hotel from my next vacation next July. I really can't wait to go back and see and join all of these wonderful, even exceptional, members of staff. However, as the saying goes: "the world is not perfect." My only disappointment and bad luck was just at the moment of my arrival when I had the misfortune to randomly bump into a young receptionist called "DAILENIS". It really is the exception to the rule, even the black sheep of the fold! She badly wanted to give me a very ordinary room (garden view) when I had previously paid for a room facing the sea, written in black and white on her computer screen, and also black and white on the printed copies of my package which I had. I strongly advise you, if you ever come across her, to ask to do business with another receptionist: There are always 2 or 3 of them serving customers when they arrive. Avoid it at all costs. But, as the other saying goes: “Nothing happens for nothing”. Her lack of professionalism and transparency, even her ability to act as if we were on her father's farm begging for room and board, rather than acting like a simple employee doing what she is paid for in his workplace (thanks to loyal tourists like me), made it so that I made the happy acquaintance of the director of this platform, Mr. Gérard, a gentelman who is worth his weight in gold, that either according to his chic appearance and dress, or his unparalleled and inspirational professionalism. He was able to correct (after 2 days of waste in rooms that did not in any way correspond to what I had paid for) the situation in two steps, three movements (as they say in Quebec), the blunder created free of charge by the employee here -mentioned above, and whose name I do not want to repeat or remember. To finish, I would like to really and warmly thank all these beautiful and generous people who work at this hotel: my new friends, even the new members of my adopted family. A huge thank you, without the slightest redundancy, to this gentelman, the director Gérard, who always has the quality blood pressure monitor in hand, to ensure the very good health of his hotel, and especially that of his customers. See you soon!

Review on the Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Cuba

, County Of Brant, ON
2024-04-02
The hotel and beach were beautiful. The people that worked there were wonderful. Rooms were nice. The main walkways and washrooms were constantly be cleaned by pleasant staff.
We enjoyed the childrens time on stage from 8-9 pm. They seem to all love the young women that ran the program.

I have a mobility problem and was so disappointed that they didn't have one pool with step down stairs with a railing. I used the family pool with my husbands assistance. I was not able to be independent for swimming which really bothered me. I feel out of all the pools at the resort they could have one step down stair with railing for people with disabilities.
The resort except for some of the pools are walker and wheelchair friendly example buffet, Al a carts, Sports bar. You can go down near the ocean and enjoy the sites.
Some room numbers don't match what elevator you need to take. Example we were in 4201. We thought you would get off on the 4th floor. You had to get off on the 3rd floor. One man he had a room starting with 4 he had to get off on the 5 th. floor. Very confusing at the beginning.

There was no hot coffee just luke warm. The only hot food items were off the grill. Example fish, some days with omelettes.

We received in our room 1 large bottle of water and 2 smaller bottles of water. I keep the large bottle so when we we were low in bottled water my husband went down to the lobby bar and they would fill it with water. I met a couple staying for another week and I past on my large plastic bottle to them. She was so pleased because they automatically through out their bottle.
We meet new people and I noticed we all helped each other out with different things.
The resort was full when we went last week and there could be very long line ups for food in the main buffet, sports bar and beach bar. Be prepared to wait. At the beach area or sports bar they can all of a sudden be out of what you would like.
Don't expect wine for lunch or dinner each day. The A La Carts seem to all have white and red wine. You get 2 A Al Carts a week. Of the two A la carts we chose the Asian was the best. Heard great things about the Brazilian A la cart. The guests we meet that had been here before said the food issue is far worse then in Dec23 and Jan24th. They felt that there were too many people in the resort. The buffet can have a challenge at times to keep up to all the people. They would run out of an item and it would be replaced with something totally different.

We were told do not tip in coinage ie. loonies and toonies. American money is the best to tip staff. Many Canadians tipped in coins even when told not to. The people can't do anything with those coins but to meet someone that could give paper money in exchange for their coins. My husband and I changed (4 ) $5.00 bills for coinage. They were so happy.
We meet people that were there in Dec2023 and Jan. 24 came with $60-$ 100 to exchange for the workers.
The return guests said that the food issue was much better in the winter than now.
One man told us that he went into Cayo Coco and went into their small convenience store and most the shelves were empty. Very sad.

People brought their own jam, peanut butter, toliet paper and many other items to long to list.
Generally you do not go to Cuba for the food.
Do not go if you can't climb stairs or go downstairs because once your plane has landed there is no ramp to get off the plane or up into the plane.
This is the first time ever I was asked if I had medication coming through customs. I did and was taken to a station with 2 women who never spoke to me and looked at every medication bottle. Thank goodness they all had updated labels that they could see. If I had prepoured them in a dossette they would have been taken away from me and it would have caused me to get really sick.

There is a Dr. on site, hair salon, place for massages.

My husbands review would be different because he has no mobility problems. He is very blessed. [Details]

The weak points
Most buffet food other than grill was Luke warm or cool. No hot coffee. Often no milk near cereal. No pool with step down stairs or railing.sometimes long line ups for food.

Beautiful Resort, Disappointing Start

, White Lake, ON
2024-03-09
I first want to say how wonderful this resort is. It's new, well maintained and the welcome and check-in was smooth and the receptionist was very helpful and kind. However, the bellboy Leonel made the beginning of our vacation very unpleasant. It was very clear to me from the moment we walked away from the lobby that he was intoxicated, he seemed agitated, unfriendly and cold. He was speaking very fast, and mostly in Spanish but I understand enough to know he said several rude and indecent things to us. He threw one of my suitcases into the room, and didn't seem to care about our things. After this, he held his hand out expecting a tip. I told him I didn't think his service warranted a tip as I was not impressed with his drunk and foul mouth. After this, he stormed away and called my girlfriend “a cheap b****!” This is super inappropriate and uncalled for.

As for the rest of our stay it was lovely, the rest of the staff were very friendly, kind and respectful, especially our housekeeper who was very impressive with the “art” turning the sheets into a swan and a heart! Super sweet.

The buffet was very busy and the layout is not the best designed, however it gets the job done and the food is okay, just be prepared to wait in long lines!

The beach is beautiful here, but I do feel like there could be more shade as the palm stands are limited in number for a resort of this capacity. During our week at Aston we noticed that we did not get to utilize the beach loungers as much as we would have liked, so instead we laid on our towels in the sand (not the end of the world though).

In summary, I hope that someone will be able to rectify the situation with the rude bellboy and correct this behaviour before it spoils more experiences. I have been to Cuba on several occasions and have always known the Cuban people to be kind, respectful and sweet. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, however this is not to excuse this bad behaviour when you are working in the hospitality industry! For this reason and this reason alone I will not return and will be giving a low score! [Details]

Beautiful Resort!

, Ajax, ON
2024-03-03
This resort is very beautiful, it's new and very well layed out. You don't need to walk far to get to a pool or the beach. Rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. Food is okay - it's Cuba and if you have ever been here before, you know the food is not that great. As for the buffet, it is very poorly layed out. There are always huge line-ups for pasta and other freshly cooked food items. Waiting in any line takes 45 minutes minimum, sometimes more than an hour. This also makes it very difficult to navigate. The area is always very crowded. The buffet needs to have an additional complete food station - there is a partial station in another area with very limited food items to choose from - this could be expanded and that would help relieve some of the congestion in the other area. There is a food area called Cafe Americano that is not used at all for food service - use of this area could help alleviate the congestion in the main buffet. They also seem to run out of almost everything, but we had heard that they are having serious supply (and staffing) issues. There were supposed to be churros daily at the beach, but we only got them on one day and again after a very long line-up. The a la carte restaurants were better, but on one day that we went they had no napkins. We were allowed two a la cartes, but both times when we went, the restaurants were half empty. Again this might be due to staffing issues. In spite of the food issues, we had a good time and we would consider returning. [Details]

The strong points
Beautiful rooms - resort is well layed out. Grounds and beach are well cared for. Close to the airport, so travel to and from is not lengthy.
The weak points
Food is not the best. They ran out of many items on a daily basis. They also seem to be short-staffed. More staff might solve some of the problems.
Sanitary measures
Hotel is very well cared for. There are cleaners present at all times to take care of spills, etc.

Disappointed in Cayo Coco.

, Terrebonne, QC
2024-03-02
Before I begin, I will state that this was not our first time in Cuba and we know about the food shortages and lack of certain amenities.
The beach is gorgeous and the view breathtaking. Soaking up the sun was the reason why we booked this trip but it was disappointing that we had to wake up at 5 am in order to “book” or “reserve' a lounger chair at the beach or pool. For the amount of people that were present at this resort, they did not have sufficient amount of loungers (or shade) available and so people were forced to change their itinerary for the day at the last minute. We noticed on several occasions where people would reserve 5 or 6 loungers and then didn't show up until noon. The lifeguards had a lucrative business going where they would get the loungers for you in the hope that they would be compensated. We did every time as were relieved to get chairs at all!
The buffet was delicious and adequately stocked despite the shortages. We thought it was well laid out and for the most part, the lines moved quickly despite the long line ups at certain stations. I loved having an omelet done in the morning but after the second day, I just wanted my eggs done differently but there was no other option. There was no scrambled eggs in the buffet and this would certainly have made the long line up at the omelet station less busy. Most food items had tongs for serving but for something like rice and beans, it would have been more beneficial to have a large serving spoon instead. Using tongs to get butter was nearly impossible and yet even after suggesting the use of a knife, it never appeared.
Ice Cream was the best dessert and kids and adults alike enjoyed it every day ONLY if you were lucky enough to get a spoon. Not sure what the issue was with the lack of spoons but lots of us ate our ice cream with a fork.
The servers were really nice and most tried their best to accommodate us but it seemed that quite a few were inexperienced and yet felt entitled to get a tip. We tipped quite often even though we felt the service did not warrant it. We felt guilty and yet, put out that we were made to feel obligated to tip. Despite the many children, we did not find enough “kid friendly” choices in food. No French fries or pizza in the buffet. You had to wait in a 2 hour lineup at the beach bar if you wanted some. Most parents did that every day as other food choices for kids were limited. We waited once so that we could say we tried the pizza and again, as well with the churros. Line ups were way too long.
The rooms were very nicely laid out. Our housekeeper was fabulous and kept our room in tip top shape. We had clean towels every day and were well stocked in toilet paper and water. We found the missing top sheet a little strange and the comforter did not adequately fit the bed so 2 people sharing the bed would struggle for ‘comforter dominance”.
Checking in was by far the worst experience. We arrived at the resort at 1:30 pm and were told the room was not ready. We were waiting for an ocean view room and although check in was for 3 pm, we decided to have a bite to eat, grab a drink at the bar and then return for our room key. Upon our return (after 3 pm), or room was still not ready. We stayed close by as we were assured it was only a matter of time but as we hung around the lobby and people were being checked into their rooms, we were still waiting for ours.
Finally, at 5 pm, our room was ready. We were excited to settle in and perhaps get some pool time despite the late hour. We had to fight to get 2 room keys. They only wanted to give us one. We were 2 adults and were not necessarily going to be attached at the hip together the entire trip. We needed 2 keys. The front desk knew we were upset as we had been waiting for hours for our room and so they relented and gave us 2 keys, but you could tell it was done grudgingly. Our excitement for the room soon turned to anger and disappointment as our room did not boast the ocean view that we had paid for but instead had a view of the building across from our block. Once again, we returned to the front desk where we were informed that “ocean view' does not necessarily mean you see the ocean. Really? Then what does it mean exactly? At this point, we were at the point where we wanted to leave the resort. We thought that if the start of our vacation was this difficult, it didn't bode well for the rest of the week.
One of the receptionist took matters in her hands and accommodated us immediately and apologized for the delay and misunderstanding. By the time we settled into the ocean view room, it was 7:30 pm and our first day at the resort was totally wasted. Then for the next 4 days we had no hot water. Then for one day, we had no water at all. Other blocks did not experience the same water shortage or temperature.
Our carrier gave us 3 a la carte restaurants but we were only allowed to reserve 2 as the clerk said they wanted to give everyone the opportunity. We saw our carrier rep the next day and ultimately asked him what the cost would be to switch resorts. We were that upset but due to the high cost of transferring resorts, we decided to stay and stick it out the rest of the week. Our rep did manage to get us the third reservation (as per our trip details) and as a bonus for our difficult start to our vacation, managed to get us a bonus 4th reservation. The food was basically the same as the buffet but we got the personal touch as well as wine which was not available at the bar.
Getting a drink at the main lobby bar was occasionally difficult due to the high volume of people. I also think I didn't have the required look to garner the quick attention that some other people got. We could be standing there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged or served. It seemed that there was a considerable shortage of staff members in certain departments. Lots of floor cleaners available 24/7. Perhaps some of them could have been moved around to accommodate the other areas that were lacking.
We made the most of the week despite the cold and rainy weather. Can't blame the people on that. Our expectations were not very high as we had been to Cuba before but we were still disappointed anyway. We will not be returning to this resort and do not endorse it to others as this experience did not meet our expectations. However, if you do not mind the inconveniences that we experienced, then this resort is definitely an option. [Details]

Decent Trip To Grand Aston Cayo Paredon, Cuba

, Etobicoke, ON
2024-03-01
Took my daughter for our annual Father/Daughter trip to Grand Aston Cayo Paredon, Cuba. It was her first time in Cuba. I hadn't been there in almost 20 years. We both loved the newer, well furnished hotel, the incredible beach and the 4 pools. Ania at Natura was awesome. Roberto/Terri in the lobby bar was a morning favourite when I got my cappuccino. Orlando at the kids snack bar was also awesome. Our only disappointment was the long line ups for food at the snack bars (1-2 hours,) and the fact that even while staying 7 nights, you're only allowed 2 a la cart restaurants. I don't want to see another buffet after having spent 5 nights at the buffet. [Details]

The strong points
Newer, clean hotel. Nicely finished. Incredible beachfront. 5 well maintained and clean pools. Met a few, great staffers who were very helpful. Ania at Natura was awesome. So was Orlando at the kids snack bar.
The weak points
Line ups for getting food/snacks at 2/3 snack bars were an hour (up to 2 hours). The line up for booking reservations was an hour . Hotel is definitely under staffed. Food quality was, well, Cuba. But, we didn't go hungry. Only 2 a la carts per room tho.
Sanitary measures
The entire resort was clean. Very clean.

Great stay overall

We had set our expectations low, based on price point and knowing conditions in Cuba currently limited food availability. We were pleasantly surprised to find a room that rivalled that of our stays at 4 star resorts in Mexico and other countries. The beach may have been the best we have seen, with calm days that saw barely any waves and white sand. There was a small reef area right in front of the resort where you could snorkel and see many different fish. The beach was miles long, with many more places to explore. The food had a wide enough selection that I was always able to find something to eat that I enjoyed. The people were friendly and welcoming, always with a greeting and smile. Someone is always cleaning all the halls, restaurants, lobby, and washrooms. [Details]

Would love to visit again. Very clean, beautiful beach, great room
The weak points
Food is plentiful, but you will have to stand in line for the best options. Pizza line up is usually an hour or more. Similar line ups for other lunch options. Shorter but still lengthy lines at the buffet for omelettes, pasta, fish, and meat.

I don't recommend this place

, Gloucester, ON
2024-02-23
The hotel is new , big and clean , the beach is good , with some rocks but you can figure it out, and I think that's all about good things
FOOD
The food was so so , and the buffet is terrible , big lines and the test of the food is bad ,including the worst rice I have ever tested in my life , the good point is that you have an snack bar 24 hours with some kind of food and other restaurants are good like the Asian one or Mexican restaurant as well
BEACH
the beach is good , a couple of rocks but not bad , the color are beautiful and I really enjoyed, ideal for kids and family time , just you have to wake up at 5 am for taking a place at the beach
STAFF
I'll make a big point here , staff is good , kind and the do the best they can I think , just angry about one part of the staff , the bellboy Leonel , since the first time I went with him to my room he was rude and he was going fast and we asked about where we could eat something in the middle of the night when we arrived and he just didn't understand good but he didn't asked me to repeat the question , he just walked away and I had to put my bags inside the room by myself, it is unbelievable that a bellboy don't do one of the most importants parts of his job , I had some more other problems with him the next days and he said bad words in Spanish to me that I understood , I don't know if he was drunk couse he looked like , it is not good that they have such a bad person working there , if you are not able to make your job good just walk away from the resort the same way he did when he just left me outside my room , I started with the left foot since the beginning and I wanted to leave this comment here , we have Cubans like good and lovely people, not like people who say bad things about you just being next you , I don't accept that.

I finish with that , I won't go back for sure [Details]

This resort was an extreme disappointment. Theft is their number 1 priority at the Grand Aston. We had my husband's watch stolen, our sons belt and toiletries also stolen from block 7 over a series of days. They do not respect the Do Not Disturb sign and help themselves when you're away from your room. There is also lack of any water bottles unless you would like to purchase it. The food is also less than desirable. If you wanted to book an A La Carte, get some french fries or pizza because you were sick of the mystery slop, then expect to wait in a line of 45 min to 2 hours, and you still may get turned away afterwards.

Our safe also failed twice and our AC quit once. We had a non stop flashing light in our room as well. Lack of towels and cold showers daily.

The Entertainment was almost non existent and the daily schedules were a joke. If you want to sit around until 4pm at the pool with zero activities, you will have a guy bring a speaker and dance for an hour. The activities on the beach were also a bust although the view of the ocean was beautiful. The pool tables were torn and cues broken, broken Air Hockey table and ping pong paddles and deflated basketballs. Then if you can stomach the kids club stuff in the lobby until 930pm, there would be something for adults like Kareoke.

This resort at best may be for a family with babies or retirement age. If you want to be bored than this resort is for you! Also the lighthouse is a joke, don't waste your time as the disco and ice cream parlor are closed.

By far the worst vacation I've ever taken my family on. Will never be back to Cuba. [Details]

Nice hotel, but no food, wine, coffee, fresh eggs

I have been to Cuba many times, but this was the worst experience of my life. Everyone knows about the problems with food in Cuba, but this time it was unacceptable. People walked around the resort with their own bottles of wine, bringing all kinds of food (peanut butter, jams, cream cheese, canned goods, etc.) to the buffet. No coffee for 5 days. No wine at all.
The towels in the bathroom were dirty, no toiletries.
You just get a nice room and just the beach. This service is not All Inclusive. It's a pity, because I really liked vacations on Cuban beaches. [Details]

We really enjoyed the week we stayed there, the people are the best very friendly, after 3 nights the server at the lobby bar new our drinks!! The room was very comfortable and clean, the pool amazing, the beach is incredible, the food was ok but in Cuba it always depends of what is available at the time of your stay and we did found some very good food so we were very happy. Grand Aston, Cayo Paredon

, Greenwich, NS

This hotel is not that old and was lovely. The grounds were well taken care of, and the pools were great, especially the kiddie pool, as we were travelling with grandchildren. The beach was great, although there was a lot of garbage at high tide mark past the resort. As with most resorts, there weren't enough beach chairs, but the staff were quick to dust and arrange the chairs they did had.

As far as safety is concerned, we all felt safe on resort. In the kid's club, the tiles were very slippery, as my granddaughter (3 years old) fell 3 times on her way to the bathroom. They have the cutest bathroom for kids I've ever seen; sink and toilet just the right size for kids, complete with a froggy toilet lid!

Rooms clean, AC worked well, although having one room key per room, had us chasing each other around the resort at times. In some resorts in Mexico, they have a small pass key threaded through the resort bracelet, which was wonderful! Perhaps this might be a better way to deal with the one-room-key situation at the Grand Aston. Also, a shortage of bottled water had us having to decide whether to brush our teeth or stay hydrated. I'm aware of shortages due to the American embargo, the Russian/Ukraine war, and the fallout from Covid.

As far as the Wifi, it was intermittent at best. Some of our group couldn't sign in, and those who could had to repeatedly sign in with a complicated user name and password. Frustrating!

I do have to say that regards to food and drink, they were consistently inconsistent. Only once did I have a passable cup of coffee! Drinks were made differently at every bar/restaurant. It's Cuba after all, and we didn't expect much, but the food was even more bland and boring than usual. I existed on breadsticks and pickled beets. The buffet staff (especially Leirkey) went above and beyond! My husband celebrated his birthday while at the resort, and the staff had a birthday cake waiting for supper that night at the Asian restaurant! The staff, indoors and out, were wonderful!

We just made the best of the situation, and made lots of great memories with family, but not enough to return. I hate that I can't offer future support to the Cuban people by returning, as they've had a tough few years. [Details]

Hello
We travelled with a 2 yr old-mid January 2024. We chose this hotel based on positive reviews and the price BUT there are many improvements that need to be addressed for us to come back! First, the checking was LONG and inefficient. It took over 1h. Only one room card. The „Deluxe” garden view was in reality Lobby view, but we were happy with real King bed, as our son slept with us. I never got the “bassinet” for him. The rooms and hotel is modern. The mini bar included 2 beers / 2 instant coffee pods and 1 bottle of water which was never replenished afterward. You get coffee in your room just once ! We had to constantly ask for water-Big Issue! One day we didn't get room towels and the dirty ones were hanged on [Details]

We received a loyalty treatment, since our very smooth check in with the assistance of Liubys, she gave of the best room with the best view on building 5 top floor. We spend most of our time on the beach and the weather was good, they even served us drinks at our long chairs. And the restaurant is right there for pizza and another good option. All the staff at Grand Aston are truly phenomenal, helpful, and extremely friendly. They always welcome you with a smile and always seek to satisfy your requests. Maria, the reception manager, always gave us a very warm greeting. Yuli and Roberto at the lobby bar were also amazing in remembering our daily orders. Our room was very modern, spacious, and very well cleaned by our maid Yamisely. We enjoyed everything about this hotel, the food, the drinks, the activities and the magnificent beach where we were able to see some fish with our snorkeling masks. A full week of pure tranquility and fun. Full mornings enjoying the beautiful beach with crystal clear waters and during the afternoons the entertainment at the pool is really fun, with various games in which we were able to participate. The show at night could improve, it is almost non-existent. The food is good at the buffet, and even better at the a la carte restaurants. Really what makes this hotel wonderful is the people, they are always smiling and very willing to assist you. The lobby bar staff is super friendly and always so kind, as is the assistance at reception, they are very professional. Thank you all Grand Aston, see you soon. [Details]
