Turtle Beach Resort By Elegant Hotels

The food and the service were great. We have never seen so many people smiling so intensely for so long.

It was our first time to Barbados and after booking the resort on-line we were unsure as what to expect. Nothing to worry about, we picked a winner.

The beach and ocean swimming were the best we've experienced.

Overall, this was a great resort. It was beautiful, well kept and is staffed with some wonderful people. The food was good, however, it would have been nice to see more authentic Bajan cuisine on a daily basis. The beach was beautiful but for the most part, very choppy and somewhat difficult to relax in. The drinks were plentiful but it is important to know that the bars close down at 12:30 a.m. So while this is an all inclusive resort, there is no beverage service after this time, and there is no food available after 10:00 p.m. This is not the hotel for those going away and looking for nightlife as it is very quiet after dinner. Good hotel, close to airport, nice food but low variety, mostly the same food at lunch and also dinner. We expected to be rough water but I hane never seen that big waves and there was no storm(it is regular). Be very carefull with the kids as they can disapear in the waves fast. The beach chairs are a joke and they have only the shade made by the chairs roof(not much shade). The air conditioning in the room blows right in your face when you sleep. The room is good size. There is no entertainment, some night there is some singing(bad) that lasts up to 10PM but that is it. Nothing for kids(family resort?). Overall ok but I won't come back here. West coast is better but more expensive. [Details]

the rooms were nice, we had to complain to housekeeping though as for 2 days in a row they didn't leave enough clean towels. Also the variety of the food at the buffet was disappointing. [Details]

Hotel was clean, Staff very friendly, food was great, free internet cafe, free kids club, free shuttle to Bridgetown. Sea was a little rough.

this is a beautiful hotel with mostly GREAT people. There were a handful of super-grumpy restaurant staffers. They stood out, because all of the rest were over-the-top wonderful. Strange! The beach and pools were excellent. The beach chairs and service at the beach were particularly great.

The hotel is renovating whole sections of rooms. At first, we were put in a very old section. It smelled of mold and had plumbing issues. We complained and were upgraded & moved the next day. It was disappointing, but they staff handled it very well. The new room was TREMENDOUS. 1 bedroom, seperate living room, outstanding view and balcony. The food was excellent. The staff were very kid-friendly and the resort was just perfect for us and our 6 year old.

There are always a couple hiccups, but overall, we would return for sure. [Details]

Over all is okay. But there are two things which were really bad, first is the flies are all over the foods over lunches, second is the bathroom is in a really really bad condition... I rate this resort at 3 stars. [Details]
