Wonderful hotel and beach, beautiful grounds but everything costs extra. The kids club and any activities they advertise are all extra. Restaurants and poolside food/drinks are 50% higher prices than here in Vancouver. Internet is $20/day, Gym is $20/day etc. [Details]

The strong points
This was my third family trip to Atlantis. There's lots for the family to do between the watermark and the beaches.
The weak points
Family meals are very expensive. Come prepared to spend a lot. A breakfast buffet for 4 is over $100 and dinner is over $200.

The reeef and cove are the only places to stay whe

We stayed at the Reef Atlantis. It was a wise choice. The studio was beautiful, it would have to be, it cost $700.000 to own. It had a small fridge, sink, dishwasher and two burner cook top. As well as a very large seperate shower and tub, double sink with granite counter and marble floors. The bed was a king size and then there is large living area with two chairs and a couch as well as a small kitchen table and two chairs. The balcony was very large and had two chairs and a table. The pool area is shared with the Cove and is very large and warm. The slides and lazey river are great. The ocean and beach was warm, very clean and crystal clear. If you have kids 8 years or older they will never forget the experience. The food was not as expensive as other reports I have read. You can get great ham or chicken burgers a endless drink and fries for $12.00 each. ( they are great) Dinner was expensive, $55.00 each. All in all the resort is beautiful and well maintained. You will not be disappointed. But DO NOT say at the BEACH OR Coral Or Royal Towers. These hotels are way out dated and smell musty. If you can not afford the Cove or Reef wait until you can. My wife and I are in our late fifties and have stayed at very expensive Hotels through out the Caribbean and found this hotel to be a true five star. The people working here were very nice and attentive. [Details]

Absolutely LOVE IT!

The Reef is a perfect hotel for our family. We have two kids under 5, so having the microwave, fridge and dishwasher made our vacation more convenient. The hotel is beautiful and new (even the lobby's bathroom will take your breath away). We went in September and Atlantis was not crowded. My husband insist for me to write AWESOME to describe our vacation. The Dolphin Cay is a expensive ($130 per person all ages), but you may hang out in the beach and watched them for the day. We took Casual Dining Plan - totally worth it! Our favourite is Bimini Road and we didn't care much for Chop Stix. The only regret is we only get to stay for 3 nights. You need at least 4 nights because the place is so big and offer so much to see. The beach is beautiful. We don't do much outside between 11 and 3 pm because it's too hot (for us), so we went to see the amazing Aquarium that they have. My 19 months LOVES it! The people are just so FRIENDLY, everywhere (including the airport). This place is perfect for a family. If we can afford it, we would like to go back again and hopefully for 5 nights. Someday. The strong points
If you have kids - this place is so perfect. And the adult get to have a good time too.
The weak points
Some of the restaurants' food was just ok (for the price your paying). huge portion, couldn't eat all of it, but you can ask to take them back to our room (even the dessert).
