Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas

I was expecting more because of price and being the Bahamas. To be honest pool small, only one bar opened and staff not overly friendly. The food was the only thing I would say was amazing but same selection every day for breakfast and lunch but would switch up some things at supper. [Details]

This is a smaller-sized resort, with an amazing pool area, and a small beach. It faces the Nassau harbour, rather the open Carribbean. But for all that it has excellent food, friendly staff, and generous drinks. And those are all included. [Details]

Staff are professional, friendly, willing to assist and efficient. The customer service from the food staff, front desk staff, front lobby staff, pool staff, entertainment staff, excursion and concierge staff and bar staff are all excellent. Namely, Bullet, Rino, the bike lady, Valentino, to name a few.

This was a girlfriend getaway. We had a wonderful time at this resort. It is a smaller resort, a little bit dated but overall the resort is great. Very clean overall. Service all around was excellent; friendly courteous staff; food was top notch plenty of choice. We enjoyed all food at the buffet. Enjoyed our dinner at the steak & seafood specialty restaurant over looking the water. Pool was good; small beach area. Location good. The price was right and the weather was perfect for us. We had a great time at the resort. It was bright, clean and rooms were well maintained. The staff were helpful, friendly and approachable. The breakfast buffet was great. It was nice having the outside snack bar to get food and drinks at throughout the day. The pool and beach areas were lovely and we were always able to find a place to spend our days relaxing. The bar staff and entertainment staff were fun and did a great job of getting people to participate in a variety of different activities. We would return for sure! [Details]

My experience was terrific. From the moment I arrived until the time I departed. The Staff, and I mean every Staff Member on the Resort that I encountered, ( which were a lot, in all areas ) went above and beyond and were friendly, happy, helpful ~ good peoples employed at The Warwick. I never encountered or heard of any negative stories/happenings/alcohol episodes ~ only happy and funny amongst any guests. Food~Fabulous! Pool/ Outdoor space ~Just Great! More than sufficient outdoor “smoking areas” Cleanliness~Clean! Just what the Website says/shows. I really don't need to attach pics, as my room/amenities/view~was just as they show. I'm an “aware” traveller and at no time did I feel unsafe in any manner at The Warwick, quite the opposite. Adult, 55 Female, Travelled alone and I upgraded to a Harbour Deluxe Balcony (I'm a balcony person) Not much time spent out on it~but would surely get it again regardless. It's literally an All~Inclusive as they state. You could go and not spend 1c there. Ping pong, pinball, Pac-Man, organized games, bike/walking tours, shows, karaoke, yoga etc. It's all in. (they have a Spa, I heard fabulous things about from other guests, however I did not even check it out~ not a Spa person) Gift Shop had pretty much anything you may be in need of (you buy). Had laundry machines (you pay) Edgewater Grille Rest. & Italian one, I ate at 1x~ both great. I'm a buffet person so I chose the Verandah all other times. Loved the food.

Our first trip since 2019 and we decided to go to Nassau, which we have never been too and decided to stay at the Warwick Resort on advice from our travel agent and we were delighted with the hotel, staff, food and overall appearance. We have recommended this resort to our friends and relatives and we would definitely return. [Details]

Great Relaxing Holiday Atmosphere Good service, meals and drinks.
Staff friendly and very helpful. Hotel kept very clean. The entertainment was
not very good. A stage show nightly would be most appreciated rather than a

The property looks well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and the food at the Verandah restaurant (buffet) is of great quality. Edgewater grill and Abbiocco are good choices for a sit down a la carte dinner. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. The beach area and deck serve their purpose. An oceanic beach (Cable Beach) is a very short walk from the hotel. [Details]

This is absolutely the worst resort I've ever stayed in. The rooms were shabby with moldy bathrooms and fixtures falling off the wall in bathroom. Furniture in room aside from the bed shoddy and well worn. Room not soundproof, could hear guests above and on both sides using the washroom and wandering in the room, even opening drawers. Food in all restaurants mediocre and sparse and that's being generous. Pool pretty but poolside entertainment either non existent or loud and obnoxious. Most staff polite. I have stayed on other resorts in Nassau without complaint but this was bad! [Details]

Overall, a good time. Food was good (not great but to me that's expected at that price point).

Staff was fabulous. Friendly and personable.

The music too often was too loud and aimed at the under 25 crowd. Not for a second am I suggesting that should never be played but take stock of your clientele - ages ranged all over the place (under 25 to seniors).

The music shouldn't be primarily directed at one specific age group. Ever.

On 3 separate days I had to complain (and in discussing with other patrons, I wasn't the only one). To the hotel's credit, the music was changed. Here's the thing, tho - think. You start day 1 with blaring Bahamas hiphop and change it a little while later due to complaints, you don't start day 2 and day 3 the same way. It was obvious the girl in charge put on what she wanted to hear vs the clientele.

This was our 3rd time at this hotel. We'll probably go back a 4th time but next time I explore going to the Bahamas (which will be soon - we've gone there now 10 times), I'll spend more time investigating other resorts. [Details]

People & staff were lovely. Pricing compared to status of Hotel was a little expensive. Hotel Entertainment not advertised in Hotel- so we missed some; elevators broke daily. In general a very nice place to relax in a safe & beautiful environment with very respectful people. [Details]

From the minute we arrived the resort crew made it great, location, food, rooms.
Met tons of other customers as this is a small resort, 243 rooms.
Alacarte restaurants were the best we have ever experienced, buffet was also good. [Details]

Good first experience but definitely some missed opportunities. Food was generally great. Especially the salad bars with great fresh variety and the breakfast. The fact that there was an easy towel service for towel exchange was also great. The program to go to Cabbage Beach was also a good day excursion. That being said, there was no coffee bar/fresh espresso (a service found at most all inclusives) just drip coffee and an automated machine. The Tings on a stick menu could be clarified to allow for better ordering, as some entrees are sharing plates (just meat) while others are full meals. [Details]

Had a very enjoyable experience at the Warwick Paradise Island. Great food, lovely views, very good location. Hotel staff were smart and hospitable, hotel guests were respectful and pleasant. Fabulous sitting area where you could watch the boats go by. 8 minute walk to the Atlantis, 11 minute walk to the beach at the ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the Edgewater Grill. The Verandah buffet offered an excellent selection of high-quality food with lots of fruits and salads. Freshly-made personal pizzas from the pool-side grill were delicious. Not too crazy about Tings on a Stick or Abbiocco restaurants. Enjoyed every minute of the trip and would absolutely return to the Warwick Paradise Island. [Details]

Positives: Excellent hotel with good food, clean grounds and superb staff. I most definitely would consider returning.

Negatives: 1) The pool needs to be heated. In the week I was there I'd estimate no more than 20 people all together actually swam in the pool (even tho is was 80 and sunny each day). The water might have been 70 degrees max? I am guessing it was recently drained and refilled.

2) Too much hip-hop and rap at pool bar. Nothing wrong with that music, but when it's the primary type, it's a tad trying after a while. Consider the age ranges of the clientele - 20s to 70s; a mixture of music should be played. My understanding is that primarily the music selection is via the lead bartender and his/her laptop? If so, that certainly explains things and therefore, should be relatively easy to address. [Details]

Resort is rough on the edges- dated rooms, rust showing but they are going under complete renovations in July. One of the few all inclusive resorts in the Bahamas- great value for your money!!

Food is average, nothing exciting but nothing awful. The are lots of other options within walking distance if you want a change- Starbucks, Green Parrot, Quiznos , Dunkin Donuts, Jonny Rockets, Anthony's Grill etc.

Staff delivers 5 star service!!

Had a enjoyable time, hotel was a little rough but clean, a lot of things broken or in disrepair. The food and staff were good. I hear they are going to remodel the place. Probably won't be able to afford it then. We enjoyed ourselves walking everyday on PI [Details]

hotel is ready for its renovations next year. Check in took quite a while, only one staff on the desk.

You have to sign out towels. I was on 7th floor and every day there was construction in a room down the hall, very dusty and smelly.

I could hear the guests in the room next to me very clearly, the walls were very thin.

wall safe sometimes didn't lock.

Food was not what I expected, a bit boring.

The staff was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The hotel itself was more rundown and shabby than I'd expected, the beach was wretched and the pool was dirty. We had upgraded to a waterfront room but did not get one. We asked to be switched and were, the next day. I probably wouldn't go back here though. [Details]

Hotel is older and needs an update but the service is equal to a five star resort. The staff is amazing, patient, and very accommodating. Pool is huge and a great layout; however more pool lounge chairs are needed. [Details]

Booked this hotel at a sale price, felt we got good value for what we paid. Hotel is small. We had a balcony room which was quite nice. Needs updating, but was clean. Note only Harbourfront rooms have a balcony, the other rooms do not.

We found food and service to be good. It's not on the ocean, but there is a pool and a small man-made beach area.

There was a buffet restaurant as well as an a la carte, and you could also order food at the bar. We ate most of our meals at the buffet, and ate at the a la carte twice.

Only about a 5 to 10 minute walk to Atlantis, and close to a plaza that had a small grocery store, liquor store, souvenirs, etc.

This hotel has recently been sold, and were told it will be closing in April 2014 for 6 months while they expand and renovate and will re-open as a 5 star hotel. [Details]

The hotel and all inclusive price could not be beat for what we paid! A solid 3 star hotel,extremely clean and staff was excellent.Pool was very large but in need of minor repairs.Food and hotel bars were much better than we expected. Nassau is known to be very expensive but this hotel made it reasonable for the average couple to afford. [Details]

The food exceeded our expectations but the beaches really let us down. We tried the beach at the hotel which was full of garbage as well as the short walk to cabbage beach where we we hounded about renting a $10 chair and a &25 umbrella along with offers for drinks and other things the whole time we were there. Still undecided if we would return and try it again. [Details]
