Great Hotel & Staff

, Sioux Lookout, ON

The hotel was very nice. This was my second trip to Las Vegas, I had previously stayed at the Tropicana (other end). We were offered the opportunity to upgrade our room for half the price. Check in was quick, although we did arrive after 9pm. The location is the far north of the strip, but the monorail can be picked up at the Sahara Hotel just a block down the road. If you want to be closer to the strip I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It was about a 30 min walk to the old Strip where you can find the Mob Museum and the Freemont Experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We went to the observatory and enjoyed a drink, while we went inside and out to enjoy the view. We had a room with an adjoining door to the room next to ours, only fallback there was that it could get noisy. We heard the odd person in the early mornings returning from the bars/clubs but nothing lasted too long. Room service was good, depending on when you order the food would come earlier then they said. Husband did order an ironing board and it didn't show up until he had to call again. The dining options in the hotel were good and it was nice to have a Starbucks right inside. [Details]

The worst customer service in Vegas

, Surrey, BC
2017-06-26
I have been to Vegas more than 10times, and had stayed at quite a few hotels on the strip and Fremont (old strip). this is by far the worst. first, this hotel is at the end of the strip, very bad location.the conceige gave me the wrong direction to the bus stops.;second, it charges the highest hotel fee as a 3-stars $28/daily; Compare to Ballys at the center heart , charges $25, included a $10 coffee credit/ person; third, I did the typical vegas trick, which was tipping the front desk staff upon check in for a free upgrade. however, He took the cash without giving nothing ;third, I had a parcel arrived at the hotel, I called and stoped by for 4,5 times, they still forgot it. I had to waited in the line for 20mins to pick up myself, and was forced to pay $5 tips to the concierge guy. Then he yelled at me, because he was busy to sell show ticket to some other guests. The front desk manager was very rude. [Details]

Basic Hotel

, Stratford, ON

Hotel is okay. Was expecting a little more creature comforts in my room. No mini fridge, coffee pot etc. It's been a few years since I have been to Vegas and was expecting a little more. Did not realize how far removed from the main part of the strip it was. We have to purchase bus passes to get anywhere. Not a good area of town. Locals advised us not to be walking at dark in the area.. Not safe location. On the upside there was a bus stop right in front of the hotel and it ran every 10-15 minutes. [Details]

Not Reccomended

You are at the far north end of the strip. Too far to walk to anything really. The check in/out is a joke and a nightmare. The rooms have no fridge to put leftovers into or keep drinks in. The bathtub was yellow and looked dirty. I wouldn't bathe in it!
What is the point in a roof top pool with a bar and DJ if it closes at 10 pm?
Didn't really enjoy the hotel and spent very little time there. [Details]
