Sahara Ruined Our Wedding
My wife and I booked 4 nights for our wedding. The first room we were given the air conditioning did not work properly and I had to sleep separately from my fiancee because we were too hot and sweating too much. We told the front desk the next day, who sent a technician who fiddled around with our air conditioner and said that should work. The problem persisted and was not resolved. We informed the front desk, who moved us to another room on the same floor. The issue persisted with this room. Our friends and family who came to stay all had working air conditioning in their rooms, which was quite pleasant. We told the front desk about the issue, who said that that would send a technician to deal with the issue. It is now my wedding night, and I am sitting here, in this garbage hot room, in a chair separate from my new wife, writing a review for this place instead of consummating our marriage. It has been over an hour since the front desk has sent a technician. I will update this review if the technician ever shows up or if we can get a room with working air conditioning where we don't feel like dying. In short, my wedding in las vegas was amazing, my new wife is beautiful and amazing, and Sahara has ruined our wedding plans. Stay far away from this place. Update :20 minutes later still no technician. We tried calling down to the front desk to inquire if someone was coming only to find out the phone in our room is not working. My bride is currently crying.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED. Stayed at Harrah's May 2nd-5th and my group's suite was burglarized on May 4th between 6:00am-7:00am while we were asleep in the room. We had a handbag stolen along with a wallet containing one of the party's IDs and credit cards and fraudulent charges were placed on the cards. Harrah's is denying responsibility as they are saying we did not close the door properly but they did not provide us proof except a phone call stating they "investigated" already and that was their finding. Investigation was only completed after we had left the hotel, we did not receive any other information for the remaining duration of my stay. During our stay we discovered you do not require a room key to reach the floor we were staying at. Our calls with the risk management team revealed that while the key cards are required at certain times of night when there's more risk of theft, at the time of our burglary incident, the key card requirement was not applicable to our floor because the proper updates to our locks had not been applied yet so anyone off the Vegas strip, hotel staff or not, can walk into the hotel and access that floor. Risk management team continued to say it's not their problem that the floor was not secure and still tried to blame us, but the door was not properly upgraded and faulty to begin with. This is flat out negligence by the hotel as the floors are not secure for guests of the hotel and we were not made aware until we had probed further. Safe was also broken in our room, room hallways have no security cameras either. There are no security measures taken on this property - if you stay here you run the same risk as us of having your belongings stolen and your cards frauded. Avoid at all costs, we will never stay here again.
