Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun

Everything about this resort was great! From the bellhop, Marcelo, to the front desk and all the staff at the bars and restaurants. The staff spoke very well English and remembered your name. It's a perfect size resort with adequate pools and bars. They constantly kept the beach clean and the pool water. Would definitely be back even for a short stay!!! [Details]

Wow!! After all of the stays we have had at other higher end all inclusives we have truly found our family's home.
The service here is by far the best we have ever received at an all inclusive.
We have stayed at resorts with white glove Butler service and it doesn't compare to the authentic caring service we received at Margaritaville island reserve.
My 2.5yr old son was treated like a king. Special shout out to Tony at the beach house. By the time we were seated Tony would have "special" watermelon plated for my son and have his juice poured and ready to go. Tony and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was as stress -free as it can be while traveling with an over tired 2.5yr old.
The food was way above the norm for an all inclusive. We truly had zero complaints. The New year's Eve dinner was fantastic.
Drinks were of top quality using only brand name liquor. They were never shy on the pours and would make you anything you could imagine.
Rooms were beautiful, well equipped and well maintained. We had a swim up suite and the only complaint was that the pool was way too cold to use for the first few days as it was cloudy and rainy which is out of the hotel's control.
Check in and Check out were smooth and quick. The resort was sold out and oddly enough we kept looking at each other asking "Where is everyone?". Never crowded, always beach loungers available and no waits at the restaurants. Reservations were never an issue. [Details]

Hotel was really clean as were the spacious rooms. The staff worked tirelessly to care for the beautiful grounds. The Margaritaville theme was well done. The service was possibly the best we have had at an all inclusive. The staff went over and above to make sure guests were satisfied.
This is a smaller resort and a little more laid back then most - perfect for a relaxing vacation. Perhaps this resorts size allows guests to connect with staff more easily. Waiters and serving staff often learned was we liked and brought it before being asked. Shout out to Shirley who really took care of us all week. Even brought an order of French fries to us on the beach one day. We found almost all guests to be extremely friendly and made friends quickly from the US, GB & Canada.
