Exceptional Resort

This was our first Secrets resort and it was exceptional! Staff, facilities, food, room, entertainment were wonderful! After over 30 years of travel to Mexico this was the best. The extra cost was well worth it. An adult only resort with tremendous staff and high quality food options. [Details]

The strong points

The staff are amazing, friendly and accommodating. Mike at the infinity pool, Benjamin our concierge, Edgar a server and Barbara the manager of Seaside Grill just to name a few. The variety and quality of food is exceptional.

The weak points

On our departure we encountered a staff member who claimed to want to do an exit survey that quickly became a sales pitch to purchase a voucher to return. Would have preferred this be sent via email after our holiday.

My wife and I were suggested this resort by her parents and we loved every moment of it! From the entertainment staff to the food at the restaurants, the staff, the pool areas and the beach - we had a blast! We celebrated our one year anniversary and couldn't have had it at a better place! We would like to give a special shoutout to many of the staff who made our stay so memorable including: Erika (she made our anniversary amazing by going above and beyond), Alex, Celeste, Juan Carlos & Elizabeth on the entertainment team. Miguel & Cesar at the Himitsu restaurant. Carlos at breakfast at the Market Cafe (amazing service). Both Martin's by the poolside for always getting our drinks and food for us and lastly, Freddy who always ensured we were taken care of by the pool (he even cleaned our glasses). Truly an unforgettable resort that we would HIGHLY recommend and go back to! [Details]
