Don Pelayo beach resort Mazatlan

We loved the location as we are walkers and the malecon and the beach were both fantastic for walking. The hotel is nice and clean . Staff was very helpful especially Jonathon. The ocean view rooms are a great plus however not great for sleeping . The street noise was very loud every nite. Although we loved the view we would ask for a lagoon side room next time even though they don't have balconies [Details]

The strong points

Staff are very friendly. Location is great for walking the malecon, and hotel is very clean.

The weak points

People were allowed to wear street clothing in the pool and hot tub, should be swimsuits only, which I believe is a health and safety issue, also adds to the uncleanliness of the hot tub and pool, which had scum around the water line of both of them

Sanitary measures

They made sure u had a mask on and so did all staff. They had hand sanitizer and a body sprayer every time u entered the hotel
