Disappointing!

Upon arrival it was apparent that the buildings were outdated. There was bar music that was so loud it vibrated the room door which was not sealed and you could see the clear space around it. Upon entering the room the bathroom was extremely small. Barely able to accommodate one person. Closet unfinished and was just a clothing bar and 3 drawers wide open to the entrance. 2 double beds that are attached to the floor and a door to the patio. I decided to spend a couple extra $ on the vacation for the ocean view which did not disappoint. Don't come here if you wish to relax! Constant extremely loud music which I would call noise (ompa bands on beach with amplifiers). When an actual mariachi band showed up you couldn't hear them. [Details]

The strong points

The ocean view is unbeatable. Breakfast was always good if you got there in time!

The weak points

Food other than breakfast was awful. It was cold and always the same (hot dogs and hamburgers) which carried over to the evening. On our stay they either ran out of mustard or ketchup every day.

I will start by saying this is our 24th time to Mexico and we are casual, not fussy travelers, so for someone wanting 5 star in Mexico this is not the place for you. However someone that loves the Mexican culture, food and people this is a great place for you!

The strong points

Great service, amazing staff from back office to bartenders and servers! Great location with great beaches for walking! WiFi was available everywhere at all 4 resorts from all the common areas to the rooms. Stay at one and use all 4!

The weak points

The noise from the bars across the street, until 3:30AM. While this is not the hotels fault, it is more of a warning to bring noise canceling headphones that you can wear to sleep! Not a lot of alcohol selection. No real entertainment in the evenings
