Amazing staff especially Sylvia, pool concierge, and David, pool bar server. All the prime location main pool, and privilege area pool loungers are reserved between 5-6 am! And the rest of the loungers are mostly full by 7am and a lot of people don't show up until late morning or early afternoon if at all in some cases! Worst chair game I've ever seen and it was only 60 percent capacity. What will happen when it is full?
Some meals were amazing. We especially enjoyed Olios, Bordeaux and Bluewater. We tried the Japanese (not teppinyaki) twice and both times were terrible. We tried the Mexican and the food was served cold, every course! The buffet was always cold food, even at 7am.
I got food poisoning and was down for over 24 hours. No, it was not Norovirus, Norovirus is extremely contagious. My husband and I drink out of the same water bottles, eat off each other's forks and kiss, alot, haha. He def would have gotten sick if it was a virus and he did not. There were many other guests getting ill the week were were there.
The pools were nice. The pool staff was amazing especially Sylvia the main pool concierge and David, a pool server. Drink service at the pool was good and the pool drinks were good. Pool loungers are cheap plastic and very uncomfortable.
For the most part we had a great time. But we won't return. Not up to Secrets standards. [Details]

Secrets Mirabel is a newer Secrets, it was in our opinion exceptional, we ate at all of À la Carte restaurants all being exceptional, with our favorites being Olio and Blue Water. The room, the hotel and grounds, the pool the music, the view all were wonderful. The thing that really impressed us the most was the staff. They were absolutely wonderful. [Details]

Secrets Mirabel Cancun
