Postive feedback : same as everyone the beach is the best part - beautiful.

The beach is short walk away ;)

Chair (blue) : confortable

Staff : Really polite and friendly

Room : Nice and comfortable , the floor was clean every day .

Fridge : when asked was having bottle of water every day . Never got beer …

Pool : clean and nice we did not use it as much due of being at the beach.

Coffee: expresso was perfect and we enjoy the ice coffee and latte every day.

Contructive feedback :

Food : We knew about the food shortage and expected some but it was tooo much..

We got eggs for two days - shortage of bread - no buns for hot dog / chicken burger - fruits mainly from canned - no bacon - the grill close some days . Some days they had cola some day they did not have some.

Proteine : mainly from cheese / winner - sausage/ some time chicken parts / fish no idea what they were /beans.

Drink at buffett : White wine was not good. Water taste javex.

Wi fi : could be better - but did not mind bc i was on vacation and did not need it but was not fun when trying to check in for the flight with wi fi not working…i had to disconnect and reconnect multiple time.

Hashtray : they should have hashtray at the beach to prevent people to put cigarette but in the sand.

A Must Visit - Loved every second of our vacation

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Iberostar Coral Esmeralda in Cayo Cruz, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience.

Rooms: 5/5
The rooms at this resort are nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into my room, I was impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. The beds were luxurious, and the decor was elegant. I felt like royalty throughout my stay.

Staff: 5/5
The staff at the Iberostar Coral Esmeralda truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. From the friendly greeting at check-in to the attentive service at the restaurants and bars, every staff member was dedicated to making sure I had everything I needed.

Food: 3/5
While the flavor of the food at the resort was excellent, I found that the selection was somewhat lacking. However, I didn't gain or lose weight during my stay, so I can't complain too much! Overall, the dining options were decent, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of variety.

Alcohol: 3/5
I was a bit disappointed with the drink options at the resort. While the alcohol served was of good quality, there were no fun mixed drinks or creative shots available. However, the bartenders were more than happy to accommodate any special requests I had.

Cleanliness: 5/5
The cleanliness of the resort was impeccable. From the public areas to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. I was very impressed with the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness.

The main issues I encountered during my stay were with toilet paper and water. None of the public washrooms had toilet paper, so I would recommend bringing travel tissues with you. However, there was always toilet paper in my room, so that wasn't a problem. As for water, I had no issues refilling my water bottle in my room or at the bar at night.

In terms of suggestions for improvement, I would recommend bringing toilet paper and water flavoring with you. Additionally, it's a good idea to bring Canadian cash for tipping, as some staff members may appreciate it. You may also want to consider bringing items like socks, underwear, and other gifts to give to the staff.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Iberostar Coral Esmeralda and would definitely return in the future. Despite a few minor issues, the exceptional rooms, top-notch staff, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable vacation. [Details]

Beach beautiful
Rooms spacious & clean

People are so nice and friendly
Grounds are clean

Cons:
Wifi does not work if your life depended on it. Very very sketchy.
Missing so many things: coke, sprite, orange juice, soda water, tomatoes, eggs, milk, salad, etc….
Flies dominate the buffet, all over the food stations and the management does nothing about it.
Food is mediocre at best. Very little selection and very repetitive. [Details]

Beautiful resort, nicely laid out on a beautiful stretch of beach. Rooms are modern and spacious and the swimout rooms are a perfect addition at the end of the day after you finish at the beach! A la Carte restaurants were good with many choices. Lots of small bugs to still get ironed out before this resort will earn top stars. If you want to try a new resort with good value before the price goes up it is worth it.
Customer service was a big downfall, with them not being able to speak English when they answered the phone. Calling for room service isn't helpful if they do not understand you. The wifi is free but you must get tickets for it. It is not open. Entertainment crew really put on a good effort. Menu boards on the wall would be helpful at the snack bar, very confusing as to which menu is for today and the plastic sign being passed from table to table is passing germs along and won't work when it is bus [Details]

Beach, rooms, swim out pools, friendly people, entertainment crew!
The weak points
Communication, not very many employees spoke English, garbage on the beach along the way, drinking water in the rooms, no mini bar in rooms, no drink menus, open the wifi and use a QR code the for menus.
Sanitary measures
Everything was clean and new. All staff wore masks faithfully. Get rid of the plastic menu that moves table to table, it is not cleaned in between customers.
