Overall I was very happy with my trip back to this amazing Cuban destination.
Many of my Cuban friends still work here and all greeted me with honest love and appreciation.
Lunch off the grill daily at the beach bar was amazing!
Ala cartes were amazing.
Breakfast at the buffet was more than adequate.
All around service was amazing.
My AC in room 1237 was not great, I always bring a 220 fan so no overall issue.
I was supposed to be transferred to 1240, which had been reserved for me, but do to issues with AC in that room it never happened.
This hotel holds memories and charm and friendships that will aways bring me back.
Perhaps a 3.5* hotel now with possibilities of 4*.
But a 5* beach and a 10* experience!! [Details]

This was our 4th trip to the Melia, we brought our daughter and her boyfriend for the first time. As always the place is amazing. There was constant improvements and upgrades happening all week. The beach bar was getting worked on, upgraded outdoor shower facilities at the pool and the beach. They are painting everything, all new lounging shelters up top. People as always were fantastic, always a smile and welcome greeting. [Details]

I have been to Cuba 5 time, varadero, holguin and now Cayo Guillermk and by far the best workers, beach and food.
The food was delicious, beach was beautiful, but the best part was the staff.

I was stay at the hotel for a week, all was great, their people and the service, the hotel is quiet, relaxing and it has a stunning beach with an amazing pier to wait in the morning amazing sunrises and sunsets!!! The rooms are comfortable and clean... Traveled single this week. This 350 room hotel is a very nice size property. Plenty of gardens and easy to navigate. Clean rooms to suit any family size. Very Kid friendly as well as Adult.
Large Lobby offering WIFI at a cost of 1 CUC per hr. ( WIFI at pool bar area too). With many areas to sit and enjoy a drink of your choice at Lobby Bar. Some nightly entertainment in Lobby or Theatre.
24hr pool bar offering snacks and drinks. 2 large swimming pools and 1 kid pool.
2 A La carte restaurants, 1 buffet restaurant. A good food selection for all.
Beach Ranchon for lunch.
Large Beach area with a very long pier for snorkeling and fishing. Sand white sugar.
40 minute Bus ride from Cayo Coco airport .

Great experience, staff were great, always helpful and friendly. Food was OK but a bit repetitive. Rooms clean but could use updating, beds new and comfortable. Resort is working hard to recover from Hurricane a couple years ago. Overall great place to stay [Details]

We loved our stay here. The location was beautiful with lots of amenities/activities. They definitely gave noticeable effort into maintaining a more classic visual resort style. The staff were professional and some quite warm. I have a 3 year old that easily remained happy and active with the activities and the Kids Club.

My only disappointment was the food had a lot of sugar in it compared to my normal, low-in-sugar diet. For example, all bread was sweet including whole wheat bread. Minus this one part, the food was yummy as well and made with care.

Overall, I definitely enjoyed staying here and have been sharing it with my friends! [Details]

The enviroment of the resort is excellent. We got a beautiful view of the ocean with the palm trees from our room. The rooms are clean and the staff are super nice.The buffet is good many things to choose from. Awesome resort and staff! Everything was perfect. One of our rooms didn't have proper air conditioning and they got a new the next day. They were very accommodating for our party of 10. Food was good even if your a Vegan. We went to one of the sister hotels, Melia Jardines del Rey for lunch and a swim, that was fun. It was a long walk to the beach. Its a big resort. Didn't use the pool, but seemed like people were enjoying it. Over all I give it a 10. [Details]

we had good luck with the property our room was with great view hot water and always clean . we loved the service in all buffer and restaurants. It had basic drinks and plenty of them .Shows were good too. had bikes to rent we did some fishing on the breach on the pier visited Pilar beach and did a day in the melia cayo coco too . in general great compact place to enjoy if i take away the strong winds but that is the winter there right now and pretty normal they said we thanks the management and staff of the resort for providing their best .

My husband and I travelled with Air Transat, on December 12th, 2019. When we arrived at Melia Cayo Guillermo it was about 9:30 pm Wow !!. I was so impressed with the beautiful surroundings. Check -in was quick. We took our luggage and went to the buffet. The buffet area was so nice. When we made our way to the 3rd floor to our room, we slowly opened the door... what would we find... YES !! The happy dance began !! The room was excellent !! King size bed, top floor, ocean view, perfect !! The bed had a canopy, and was exceptionally decorated. Comfy beyond words !!! Happiness begins. The food was great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There is a great variety for every palate. .The coffee bar off of the lobby is excellent !! The area in front of the coffee bar is beautiful !! Local musicians entertained in the evening. White night was exciting. Ala cartes were good. The walkway to the beach is romantic. The pier is amazing with palapas and sunbeds. The beach is the best. White sand. FUN !! Melia Cayo Guillermo is the most amazing, beautiful, romantic, resort ever. Sometimes, I would feel like I was in Europe, perhaps, Paris or Greece. I loved my surroundings. I was in awe of the beauty and the tranquility. I loved sitting in the health bar and staring out into the ocean. I loved walking around the resort and always discovering something new. Carlos, the Director of the resort, is wonderful. La plage était magnifique,la nourriture est très bonne chaude et variée. 
Les restaurants à la carte, très très bons. Le personnel courtois et sympathiques,le point fort de ce ressort est la qualité de ses employés.Je le recommande à tous. [Details]

Vacance dernière minute, super semaine du 8 au 15 novembre.
Rien a dire de négatif sur cet hotel. Un service à la clientèle rapide et courtois.
La mer et la plage sont tout simplement magnifiques. Le lobby présente tous les soirs des spectacles musicaux. [Details]

It was my second time at the Melia Cayo Guillermo but my first time solo. I was afraid to go on my own. Afraid to be bored. My God was I wrong! I rediscovered the hotel but especially the staff. Adianis, Noelito, Edel... Just to name a fiew. And the incredible manager Carlos who's always on site and can answer any questions you throw at him. Will go back again (have plans to take the scuba diving course) because they're like family now. See you all soon! [Details]

We had a great time in Cuba at the Melia Cayo Guillermo!!! The staff is fantastic and does whatever they can to make sure your vacation is the best! With the shortages that Cuba is experiencing at this moment you really don't notice it much!! By the end of our week there was some repeated dishes at the buffet and they ran out of some mix one day but by the next day they had supplies delivered!! The manager Carlos is out and mingling with ALL the guest and try's to fix any issues! The Cuban people truly appreciate you coming to Cuba and want to make sure you return!! The beach is fabulous and the sand is soft!! Water is so clear and enjoyable for swimming! My husband enjoyed a few days of deep sea fishing and had great success! Freddie from the Melia staff will help organize your fishing adventures!! Barbara st the pool bar is definitely one to know she is an angel!!

Upon my travel to this small piece of paradise in Cuba. We traveled here with a group of 19 on Oct 18th for one week.
Was a great week by all. The hotel was very inviting from the arrival at the front lobby. The staff was very pleasant an ensuring your vacation stared off with a bang. Also offering WIFI in main lobby or pool area. For a small cost of $ 1.00 CUC per hour.

The Front desk manager ( Livan ) and the General manager ( Carlos ) was present in all of our stay at the hotel. Going the extra mile to make sure our vacation was creating a pleasant stay and helping create memories for everyone to take home.

There was a 24 hr lobby bar and 24 hr pool and snack bar. Always food and drinks. Most days buffet lunch and dinner with a great selection. An awesome Beach bar and grill. Serving drinks and great Cuban food. There was a Cuban lunch one day at the beach . Serving great food over a fire pit. A dinner and a show at pool side one evening. Special dinners or Lunch upon your request.

The Rooms were clean and convenient to Lobby, pool and activities. Plenty of gardens. Warm and inviting property.

The pool and beach. The main pool recently reopened and resurfaced pool bottom. Clean and offering activities through the day for all ages. The beach!! Wide sandy clean and great swimability. The pier amazing. Long pier for snorkeling, fishing and swimming. Seconds from pool area.

Entertainment every evening in the main lobby or main stage.. Something for all.

Excursions desk in front lobby offering daily activities near by. Also upon request Taxis to take you to the beach or town.

Overall I would Highly recommend this property if your plan is for Sun, Beach, drinks and great Cuban people.. [Details]

I recently visited Cayo Guillermo in Cuba. Loved the Pasarela Hemingway,the beach and the staff.Good service and restaurant as normal as all times I visited cuba.

Another vacation in Melia Guillermo! My favorite spot there on a pier and eat with kiki at ranchon. Room cleans and good service. Some of the staff remember me from my previous visits, and I like it. 
Catamaran and others nautique sports are free. Others hotels you have to pay. You do not have to take a bus to go to the beach like some big hotels and the beach it's available to people with difficulty to walk.

Relaxing family vacation [Details]

Another visit at Melia Guillermo. Still like this resort a lot. Something about this place makes me come here every year. Maybe because it's not to big as other resorts, everything close. Morning espresso cafe,buffet restaurant, beach and my favorite, long pier. Spending a lot of time on this pier, jumping and swimming around. Even cleaning pier from fish guts fishermen leave behind don't make me upset to much. Biggest Thanks to GM Carlos, everything getting better here,since he started taking care of this place. Stayed for a week beginning of may, and we both had a fabulous time. Hotel was perfect, staff were very helpful and friendly. Never been in a hotel that has so many staff cleaning. Hotel was spotless, food was great, lots to choose from even for me who is a fussy eater. Room was huge and again spotless. The beach was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. Very relaxing. The restaurants very great as well. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us [Details]

They have the most friendly and helpful, entertainment staff in this resort I have ever been too. Shout out to Amel and Abel! My experience would not be as good with out these two. The beach is unreal and can't wait to return!!! [Details]

Love this resort! The food was out standing ,service was great and the beach was a Wow . Cant wait to go back ! All the other resorts in cuba should learn the way resorts should be run from this resort is run.
Entertainers were always trying to get us involved, but we were lazy!! Always enjoyed a visit from Sally and the other entertainers.
In summary, the staff, food, beach and accommodations are excellent for a relaxing holiday.

We were there from April 29th to May 4th and had a great relaxing week. Small quiet resort with amazing staff and Manager Carlos is everywhere making sure all is good. Super clean resort, nice beach, some updating is required but overall great place, we loved it! [Details]
