I am glad that I've chosen this Hotel for my first time in NY. The fact that the reception is so close to the door made me feel at home. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for the purpose, the bed was awesome, housekeeping was awesome. Appreciated the free wi-fi and the window that opened. Breakfast was pretty good, although repetitive. Only gave 4 stars because of the elevator problems on Sunday morning. A big thank you to everybody who works there for making my stay so enjoyable. Will return for sure. [Details]

Upon arrival we mentioned to the front desk that it was our first time in New York City, so they upgraded our room to a suite, the free breakfast is a bonus as is the complimentary appitizers, very helpful staff we didn't have a single problem during our stay! [Details]

We loved "Element" from top to bottom. The selection at the free breakfast was wide, the staff were very kind and helpful, the room was not only clean but beautifully and simply decorated, it was affordable and it was close to everything we wanted to visit. Our only regrets were that "Element" doesn't have pay-per-view movies (they DO have an extensive selection of channels PLUS a dvd player in each room), a bathtub (the shower was amazing, though, so luxurious), or a pool (we wouldn't have had time or energy to swim anyway). We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys simple, healthy, eco-friendly travel. [Details]

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The room was modern, clean and had all the amenities you need plus more with the kitchenette. The front reception & concierge were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and look forward to returning very soon.
Don't miss the great authentic Irish pub next door. Fitz the bar manager and Denise the bar maid make you feel like a regular. A must visit for cold Guinness and satisfying home cooked meals - TIR NA NOG. [Details]
