Don't expect Sheraton like quality and service at this hotel. It's a decent place to stay but horrible service. Restaurants are super expensive plus almost everything closes at 9. [Details]

hotel was stunning, the pool area was great, with the hot tubs so close to the pool it was easy transition. the slides looked fun but a little tight for adults.
the kids seemed to love it. view is breath taking, just know there is no access to the beach on this hotel. also the room itself is nice, IF i had to nit pick anything it would be the washroom is small and def. needs a upgrading. but lets be honest, we were barely in the room). [Details]

We got a deal to this resort, and this area of the Big Island is beautiful. The resort is lovely, and we paid extra for oceanfront, which was exactly what we got. The rooms themselves were quite dated, and the bathroom was in dire need of updating; all pieces functioned and were cleaned well, but the tub had areas of rust on the outside, and while usable, it did not feel like a treat that holiday/hotel washroom facilities usually are. Would recommend a car rental to take full advantage of touring all areas of this beautiful place. The people here are genuinely wonderful and friendly. [Details]

Beautiful resort, family friendly, quiet and great for couples and seniors. You can take walks in the beautifully landscaped grounds of the hotel, swim in a pool with a waterfall, slide and shallow sand pool. The staff was very friendly, professional and always accommodating. The restaurants served excellent food. I loved the Opa fish and coconut rice at the Manta Ray Restaurant. There are free cultural tours daily provided by a very knowledgeable friendly staff member. I also really enjoyed the free hula and ukulele lessons which were offered Monday, Weds and Friday. There is a free shuttle that takes you to many interesting spots near Kona and all the major shopping destinations. My son enjoyed the teen room where he could play ping pong and other games, including computer games. Very relaxing, well maintained hotel. [Details]

Was a very good hotel off the main road and so very quiet. The pool was amazing and good for all ages. The rooms were very clean and you could choose to have the rooms cleaned when you needed them clean. The balconies off the rooms were very spacious so we used this every morning for coffee and breakfast. The mini fridge wasn't a very good fridge but worked. The resteraunts in the hotel had very good food but very expensive. They had a little store located on site as well for snacks and anything you might have forgotten and some souviners. We recently stayed at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay for a 10 day vacation. We were impressed with all aspects of the service and accommodation. The organization and genuine care exhibited during the Tsunami warning was truly exceptional. Thanks to all for a truly memorable vacation [Details]
