My wife and I have just returned sept 2016

The strong points

Disneyland could use a few more affordable outlets to eat and drink. Very expensive

The weak points

Need an adult only pool as there are more seniors and dating young couples with no kids enjoying park as well

Clean, quiet and relaxing describes this hotel. Check-in was a little slow due to some glitches however the lobby cartoons and shops kept our 2.5 year o;d grandson happy. Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen is amazing. The characters are so good with children it is wonderful to watch. Disney is so good at entertaining everyone from our grandson to us. The parades are fantastic and the cleanliness of the entire grounds are a tribute to the organization. Everyone on staff are available to help you in any way with a smile. [Details]

2 minute walk to Downtown Disney...10 minutes to the entrance gates along a wonderful shopping path. Many good eating places in Downtown Disney however reserve if possible.

The weak points

The closest restaurant for dinner was a disappointment on the first night.

The hotel is currently undergoing upgrades, and we hardly noticed. The staff was amazing, both front desk and cleaning staff. Goofy's Kitchen was the fav restaurant for us, and although it may seem expensive for breakfast, it's entirely worth it for the experience you receive. We have never gone on a holiday that we did not want to come home from until now. We started planning the next one on the flight home. Amazing experience! [Details]
