The Sands At Grace Bay

We had an incredible 1BR suite with a full kitchen and balcony on the 2nd floor. The view was amazing looking onto the pool and beachfront, and exceeded our expectations - so not sure if we were upgraded from our "ocean view" suite. The beach is the best we've ever seen (compared to Cuba, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Antigua, Barbados, Bahamas, Cayman, Curacao, St Thomas, St Marten, St Lucia, Mexico)... although Roatan was a close second. Grace bay is a fine white sand beach that's great for walking, swimming and enjoying sunsets. The beach staff are very friendly and work hard from sun up till sun down to maintain the towels, chairs and umbrellas - and to provide food and drinks to the guests. Our room and kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was kept neat and tidy by the house keeping service. We chose to prepare our own light breakfasts and lunches and had dinners in the nearby restaurants. Hemingways was good (particularly the ribs on BBQ night), however we preferred Bay Bistro, Bella Luna, and Caribbean Element - which were all within a 5 - 10 walk. We spent our evenings after dinner relaxing with a cool drink on our incredible balcony, if you're looking for an onsite bar and nightlife - then this is not the place for you.
