The Soco House 16 Plus

Very nice, very clean resort. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful (except day manager on front desk). Restaurant staff were great and tried very hard to please, but roles/responsibilities/training were clearly lacking, and there was obviously no "quality control" for proper cook/temperature. That being said the menu was very healthy and good quality. Rooms were very nice, and clean, but lack any furniture to place suitcases on, or hangers. Asked front desk twice for luggage rack or extra hangers, which never came. Pool, lounges, cabanas were all nice. Beach is inconvenient, a bit of a walk ending in a sketchy garbage ridden parking lot, and no clearly defined chairs or resort area, and unstaffed. Shout out to Gavin and Alex (aka GQ) at the bar who made everyone's experience great, and all the ladies in the restaurant (including George and Akeel) who were amazing! Miss you Elouise! [Details]

We stayed at the Soco House for a week and we found the accommodation lovely. It's conveniently located near the beach and a walking distance from the shops. The staff were simply wonderful which contributed to a memorable vacation. [Details]
