Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept spotless. Food was varied. Grounds and hotel building were kept clean. The oceanfront location was awesome. It was very sad to find out the hotel was closing but staff was excellent right until we left. [Details]

We have regrets. This was our honeymoon and our last 'big' vacation until our kids turn about 10, in EIGHT years. I'll try to summarize.
Food - soggy, overcooked. We lived off potatoes, buns, rice, and limited fruit.
Staff - all friendly to our 2yr old. Barely acknowledged us. Super low customer service.
Room - cracked tile in bathroom, stress crack in sinks, phone didn't dial, they had NO spare blankets when my daughter peed the bed.
Bar - always opened late. Took forever to get drinks, unfriendly staff, had slush drinks but no straws multiple times
Internet - cut in and out
Hot water - cut in and out
Water pressure - cut in and out
For kids - 9ish and up, not younger [Details]

I love how this resort is small. We were able to completely relax . The area is out of this world gorgeous. I felt safe walking to town by myself and also power walking and running in the area in the morning. The drinks were cold, the ocean was fabulous, the room was clean, the food was great , although they did run out of some meat at supper. It was a wonderful trip. [Details]

First experience was not very good. Had to wait an hour to register. Not very organized. would need a lot of improvement. friendlier staff

Small resort, food was adequate. The Italian and the Oriental restaurants were great, the buffet was limited. Staff doesn't seem happy, but if you make the effort to talk to them they are friendly except for Antonio the Manager, he didn't seem to care so much. Nikita who runs the entertainment is great. Rooms were clean, the bathrooms were small. Grounds are well kept. Beach is nice, but very busy with locals. [Details]

Dear all at Starfish resort Pappilon. Thank you very much for your warm welcome. We had great time and georgeous view. We were very happy to be there. There are few things that need update: add more food variety in buffet, remove the odour of sewage from bathroom and fix water pressure, update/remove necessary blocks around the pool, add better beach chairs and umbrellas. Resort was well located, close to restaurants, shopping and bars, on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. Rooms and resort were very clean. Being small hot buffet selections were only 10-12 but the food was great. A la carte restaurants very good. The staff was incredible always available and willing to help. [Details]
