Absolutely great location, private, surrounding by tropical forest. Very good food with plenty of varieties. All staff work hard to please you! Lots of hidden places you can have privacy. Basically, I like everything about this hotel: "pillow menu" (you can choose out of six), beach bags (convenient), six pools, yoga, healing sound therapy, well equipped gym, "India" and "Thailand" SPAs, ice bath fun, view from the buffet restaurant, luxury garden and vegetation, excellent music variety. The Armony is a beautiful resort, new, clean, interior decorating and architectural features (i.e bathroooms, doors, fixtures) seemingly high quality. Staff all nice and helpful. The guys working the beach absolutely bent over backwards for the patrons of that area. Poolside servers generally good. Buffet was pretty darn decent. I went to one of the a-la-carte restaurants only once, service was great, food was high quality. Plenty of hot water always in the shower. I went to this resort as a single, older male, so this likely affected some of my experience, as the place, like all of the lounge chairs etc., is really geared towards couples (not even parents travelling with older children for the most part). I found that sometimes the poolside service staff or even staff in the palapa (buffet) ignored me because I was alone. That hardly was a huge deal, but noticeable. For me the resort is a little too isolated, I prefer to be able to walk into town, but of course, that may be a positive for some people. The resort tries to provide some "night life" with live music and d.j.'s but I think there are just not enough people under 30 staying there to make that much of a thing. This is not a party place, but if you like a chance to dance to some Cuban music, you're in. There are a few areas here that one must be a "member" to use, but that was really only some outside areas, did not seem to apply to restaurants, so not a big deal. Glad that the place is 18 , children really would have detracted from the overall ambience. [Details]

We stayed here for a week. Decent motel. Food and drinks are not great. Rooms have a problem with smelling musty and also have strong sewer smells at times. [Details]

This is a new resort and is beautiful. It is about 35 minutes from the airport and is somewhat isolated. This is by far the best beach I have seen in Mexico and we have been to several in Puerto Vallarta, and also Cancun area. Quiet and peaceful with 5 pools all with bar service. Food was great even the buffet, no reservations required. Entertainment was pretty good but starts rather early at 8:00pm. This resort has a large footprint and requires a lot of walking [Details]
