We had a spectacular time at the Xcaret Arte this past week. It was a gorgeous resort with lots to do (or not do, and relax!) and great service at the restaurants and pools... The food was delicious and there was lots to choose from at the upscale buffets, and the reservation restaurants did not disappoint. The room was spacious and updated with a beautiful shower and private toilet room as well as lots of storage for our clothing. the balcony was a favourite as we loved the two hammocks. [Details]

The strong points

Ultra clean resort, luxurious Lots of choice for restaurants Room was spacious and updated with nice balcony and hammocks Lots of luxurious beautiful pools and easy access to lounge chairs Excellent food and drink service by staff Large impressive gym

The weak points

Concierge service was not great. they just wanted to sell us timeshares, when we needed help with other things they were not responsive or busy Gluten Allergy was not priority. Not a lot of knowledge of this a, no accommodations offered (ie. Arenal)

Sanitary measures

We never saw anything unsanitary. it was impeccable. WAter stations were a great addition for water bottles. staff were meticulious at cleaning and pruning nature around us.

Food was great and with lots of options to choose. Staffs are very friendly and polite. Bonus point is that all parks tickets are included and the location is very convenient to visit Xcaret/Xplor/Xsense. Would definitely come back for the hotel stay if visit Playa De Carmen again! [Details]
