My experience was better than expected. Most importantly I must say you get what you pay for. The best rooms in our opinion are the deluxe gardenview rooms. Having stayed in the Select area we prefer the deluxe gardenview. The reasons are a nice room but number one Hot hot water with lots of pressure. We are not big drinkers and prefer weaker drinks requesting the same. We have a comfortable bed , pool view , and all the amenities we need. The food this year was superior within the buffet area. Multiple choices of excellent flavoured meats . Bacon ( a big deal for some) was available most days. Fresh tasty fruit every day including mangoes. I have no complaints as we have travelled here many times. The hotel is constantly making repairs and improvements . The hotel was totally at capacity which resulted in lineups at popular times. This was handled to the best of their ability.. The a la cartes could use a refresh as menu items are limited and frankly better at buffet if offered. We have tried Herman's for a fee but feel our off resort options were a better choice . There was some nice entertainment by far bar that was nice . This place is a gem with wonderful grounds good staff and is what it is. They could refresh pools but obviously not when at capacity. The latest shipment of loungers are poor quality and several have been broken. Although some loungers are stressed from much much larger people . The weather and repairs that are required for this area are massive. When waves can crash and smash railings stairs and walkways make this a constant undertaking .Be aware Mother Nature is a factor here it can rain it can storm it can be anything. Enjoy it all but be aware.

From the moment we arrived and during our stay the personnel was friendly, smiling and helpful. Our rooms were nice & clean and all items replenished when needed. The pools & beach area were well maintained. We enjoyed the gardens & peaceful adult only section. The food was good. The snack bar, buffet & A la Carte restaurants had a good variety to offer. The free Wi-Fi worked fine. The average age of the vacationers was 55-60. We will be returning soon to again enjoy a restful vacation....
