I wouldn’t recommend it for a return visit.
The hotel is divided into three categories: basic, medium, and high quality. I definitely would not recommend the basic option. We had to change our room four times because the roof was leaking. There was no upgrade, compensation, or even a simple apology offered. Both Wi-Fi and the safe box were available for an additional cost of $20 each. A lobster at the restaurant costs an additional $25. Access to the beach is limited, and the resort, based on its own understanding of safety, may restrict your access to it. Obviously, you can leave the hotel and reach the same beach in about 15 minutes, but it feels like you're trapped within the resort.
