Be Careful Seniors
This is a seniors focused review.
If you have mobility issues this resort will limit your activity to a very small area. Very few ground floor rooms, no elevators, impossible stairs. Even the lobby in Select can only be accessed by a dozen steps which is also where you exchange beach towels. The swim up rooms have no railing to access the 5 foot deep water Many steps to the beach.
The buffet area is extremely small and shared with the very large main resort so you must pick your eating times carefully to avoid being jostled about by the mass of people as you make your way through the only door in and out of the room.
There is only one of the four a la carte restaurants that does not involve a great trek through the main resort but that restaurant is really excellent and can be booked every night for Select. On that trek you go through dim lighting and areas with burnt out lights, mis-aimed mood lighting shining directly in your eyes and poorly marked steps. If you have a mishap during your stay, ( my wife fractured her ankle on one of these steps ) do not expect much assistance from management. We have travelled for 30 years to most of the Caribbean islands and rate this as one of the worst managed resorts.
The non Select part of the resort is the typical crowded, loud, pool oriented "one weekers" and as expected people are generally younger than Select.
