Acoya Curacao Resort Villas And Spa

Great experience had a villa with 2 bedrooms. Our place was cleaned every 2 nd day . Kitchen was equipped enough to be able to make bfast . Car is a must we never used shuttle service . Transfer to airport was included this was convenient for us . Restaurant was big disappointment overpriced. Used it once for supper but never after . There are so many options outside the resort. Clean, spacious lodging. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 3 bath villa with a plunge pool. It was very clean but we had to call 2x for replenishing towels. Suggestions for villa: get a cookie sheet or pizza pan and a casserole dish. Dish soap left was almost useless. Used the restaurant twice and was not to our standards. All staff were cordial and a shout out to Melissa and Yuritee at the front desk. Pools were clean and they had nightly singers at the lobby. [Details]

Our stay at this hotel was pretty good, considering we got a good deal on it. Our room was small, we paid for the upgrade to have an outdoor sitting area. We were in a room that was basically attached to another villa (a bigger one with a kitchen, etc). The check in was flawless and the man at the front desk brought us and our luggage to our room in a golf cart. The resort seems big at first but is actually quite small. Easy to map out and understand where you're going. The nightly fountain show was interesting - same show every night but it provided for some entertainment. Wish they would have offered us an upgraded room seeing as the resort was far from sold out. We never used the shuttle to Mambo beach because we had a rental, but we did use the free chairs vouchers there. We went early and then were kicked off our chairs and moved to less comfortable chairs at Mambo, not necessarily Acoya's problem but if there are specific chairs the vouchers are good for, maybe that should be noted somewhere. They also did a “mandatory, preventative” spraying for insects when we were there and we had to vacate our room for 3 hours (which was fine because we were going to be gone anyways) - it did kind of creep us out, but truthfully we never saw any insects in our room at all the entire trip. Everything was very clean, the maid service was great. Far walk from the beach, we never walked anywhere from this resort we just used our rental. [Details]

Our villa was incredibly spacious, well equipped and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. The staff was so friendly and helpful in every way and continuously went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience.
